Dr. Armin Abron was born in Frankfurt, Germany and grew up in Heidelberg, Germany. He is married and has two children. They spend their time traveling and being involved in various activities for children. Dr. Abron also loves swim, play squash and go cycling. Dr. Hasan obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Colorado, School of Dentistry in 2011. Afterwards, he completed a 3-year surgical residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. During his surgical residency, he learned advanced techniques in both non-surgical and surgical Periodontology such as Periodontal Plastic Surgery (gum grafting), complex bone grafting, dental implants, and other specialty surgeries related to the gums and bone around the teeth.
While in residency, Dr. Hasan also completed his Master of Science in Dentistry with emphasis on L-PRF which was later published in the Journal of Visual Experiments. Shortly after completing his residency program, Dr. Hasan became Board-Certified, a distinction only a handful of surgeons achieve and maintain. Hasan also teaches as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University for the post graduate residency program.
Dr. Hasan is a member of The American Board of Periodontology, The American Academy of Periodontology, Virginia Society of Periodontics and The Academy of Osseointegration. Dedicated to providing you with the best care available, Dr. Hasan constantly advances his practice through continuing education by attending national and international meetings. Dr. Hasan finds great pleasure in community service and have participated in dental missions locally as well as abroad in Vietnam and Cambodia. He attended Duke University as an undergraduate, Georgetown University School of Dentistry for his Masters and received his Certificate in Periodontics at The University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Dental Medicine. He later served as an Associate Professor of Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental and Oral Medicine for over twenty years. Dr. Abron and his team are truly amazing! I went to DC Perio & Implants for my wisdom teeth removal and the process was truly great. The administrative staff was fantastic at giving me a very clear summary of what would be covered by insurance and the out of pocket costs, along with details on what to expect. The procedure itself was seamless and the recovery has been very smooth. Dr. Abron even called me the day of the procedure to make sure I was doing ok. Highly recommended.

Four implants over the past five years, Dr.Abron remains next to my retina-specialist as my gentle giant. He works miracles, painlessly, putting bone where it had disappeared, implanting rods to give me "real" teeth. As he's working hard in my mouth my brain says "you are so lucky to have a specialist who sacrificed and studied hard, who practices the newest technology and has an assistant who is at his right hand every moment anticipating and meeting his needs. " And yes, I know I am fortunate.

I cannot recommend Dr. Abron and his practice highly enough. I am a RDA , I have worked in the dental settings for years and I myself as a patient have been through it all ( from restorative through endo ,perio ,ortho cosmetic work ) . I was referred to Dr. Abron's office after my old bridge broke and retreatment of RCT on tooth # 3 failed and caused bone necrosis .Dr. Abron's office is well organized ,the technology is kept up to date , the staff is friendly , competent and responsive .Dr. Abron spent so much time and gave so much effort to try to regenerate my bone so i could get enough support to get a new bridge but once i finally decided to extract the tooth - he performed the extraction , bone graft , sinus lift and implant surgery -painlessly and most importantly -successfully ! Dental surgery can be frightening - but mine with Dr. Abron went smoother/easier than some of my dental cleanings ! Thank you Dr. Abron !!!

I'm very particular about my teeth and how I take care of them. I was referred by one of the assistant Juanita and wanted to try them out because I was looking for a new hygienist. The staff is so nice, the office is extremely clean and modern, and they were able to accommodate my appointments and all my needs with ease. Needless to say, one does not go to a periodontist without some apprehensions. For DC Perio & Implants. those apprehensions are quickly dissipated. I was treated straightforwardly from the initial setting of my appointment for a tooth extraction (and start of the process to a tooth implant) to the day of the appointment. The front office was efficient and polite in getting me ready for the procedure. When I was taken in, the equipment appeared to be state of the art and clean. There were two assistants who prepped me for the procedure; were personable and clearly concerned about my comfort. They explained the process of the procedure and clearly explained the requirements and steps following the procedure. Dr Abron came in; was friendly and clearly responsive to my request for a description of the process. The anesthetic and following process were performed expeditously and with explanation to me. I look forward to the rest of the process culminating in the tooth implant.

Dr. Abron is very knowledgeable and very thorough! I was referred to have a separate consultation for my condition through my general Dentist. His staff made a smooth, efficient visit (including taking great Covid precautions). I wish more medical providers would take the time to explain the options in such great detail and present the financial breakdown in a simple way.
