Dr. Michaela McKenzie is a highly respected cosmetic dentist who practices healthy, biological techniques. She discovered her artistic talent and love of creating beauty early in life. Her father, a renowned engraver, was known around the world for his exceptional work, attention to detail, and inherent ability to make designs come alive. He was commissioned by heads of state, including the Queen of England, and he helped Michaela develop her inherited artistic talent, and passion for perfection.
Dr. McKenzie is a native of London, and she has lived and studied in Germany, under a scholarship earned for academic excellence. She attended University of Arizona, where she earned degrees in biochemistry and in German. She also completed several research projects at the respected Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, before going on to attend Creighton University School of Dentistry, where she earned her DDS degree.
From the beginning of her studies, Dr. McKenzie knew that she wanted to incorporate her artistic talents into her dental practice, and create truly dazzling smiles. She joined the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry while still in dental school, making her one of two members in the State of Nebraska at the time.
A firm believer in the power of knowledge and experience, Dr. McKenzie has completed numerous post-graduate training courses, attended lectures, and collaborated with other dentists to share ideas and experiences. I found Dr. Mckenzie while I was looking for natural dentistry. I was nervous to go to a new dentist after I have seen my old one for almost 18 years. Its the filmmakers hope that we can inspire corporations and governments to Go Mercury Free.
The objective of the Q&A panel discussions was to further engage and educate the audience on the dangers of thimerosal, its effects and how we have been misled to believe it has been removed from our vaccines. and on the alarming rate that the world population is being exposed to mercury through industrial emissions and the unsafe use and disposal of dental filling and florescent light bulbs.

Dr. Michaela McKenzie has enjoyed a love and appreciation for art since her childhood, influenced by her father, a master engraver who was commissioned by many, including the Queen of England. Dr. McKenzie realized early in her studies that she desired to apply her artistic skills to transform peoples lives by helping them to achieve healthy and dazzling smiles.
Having traveled extensively during her studies, Dr. McKenzie earned dual degrees in German language and biochemistry from the University of Arizona. I call Dr. McKenzie my Jedi ninja dentist. I found her by searching for a Biological Dentist, as I had a serious problem. I had a root canal years ago before I knew how dangerous they are, and evidentially, my root canal infection made me very sick. She took great care of me. She is up-to-the-minute on the latest advancements in dentistry, her staff is just great, lovely office decor, and beautiful plants everywhere. Dr. McKenzie also has a green thumb. Every kindness and effort is made to put me at ease, and I might have gone to sleep in the lounge chair. I'm so thankful I've found her.

Me and my wife LOVE going here! Dr. McKenzie is awesome! My wife found her because she was in search of a holistic dentist. As soon as you walk in, you can tell how clean the place is, the rooms are the same. The place is so peaceful as soon as you walk in the door. Dr. McKenzie is very detailed in everything that she does from the way she works to the explanations she gives her clients. Not only is she passionate and excellent at what she does, she is very kind hearted and nurturing (I always feel so at peace around her). You can tell she understands some of the anxieties people have about going to the dentist so she goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, any little movement of discomfort she is attentive to and addresses immediately. This is the best dentist I have ever gone to. This isn't just a job for her, this is her life. I'm really glad my wife found her.

I'm so grateful today's cleaning visit worked out beautifully and I love how Dr. McKenzie answers all of my questions and helps me develop better oral hygiene holistically without toxins. Terrible service. I was having anxiety from being almost upside down and I told the "doc" she brushed me off and said "you'll be fine" the thing is, if I'm telling you I'm not fine then have some compassion, let me take a breather. I then told her I didn't want the work done and instead of again being compassionate she says "I'll have to charge you for the day." I'm laughing in my head like this woman truly is all about the $$$ I asked her what she would charge and she then said I'll charge for the day. I was asking what that price would be but she just kept saying for the day. She then gathered herself and said, take a break go to the bathroom and get some water. I did just that and I was ok, she's aggressive and interesting to say the least. This was August 2018. I did have the work done on 1 tooth and got charged about $700 for removing a silver filling and filling it with white composit... I don't know the term. I let her Remove the filling, and she put a temporary tooth $200-$300 on and said the new tooth would cost $1400 or so. I decided that cost was too much and I no longer wanted her service. I paid for what I got which was a silver filling removed and a temporary plus whatever it cost for her to do the work around $800+ this was August 2018 I mention this because it is May 2019 and I get a call saying I owe more $$$ for service that I did not receive. Again $$$ hungry. Not cool I repeatedly told Michelle the lady calling that McKenzie NEVER finished the work. What else was I being charged for almost 9months later. McKenzie was actually recommended only because she is supposed to be holistic and this was the ONLY reason I went to her, I don't trust her after this experience and I don't trust that she's truly holistic either. Anyway, go at your own risk. Still waiting to receive the email explaining the $$$$ that I owe. This call came one week ago and I called again today about 20 minutes ago and still no email. ??? I asked Michelle to put it in the mailbox and send the email. We'll see

Dr. Mackenzie was simply amazing to me.I haven't been to a dentist in years and she made me feel right at home.I fainted on my trip there and she provided oxygen to me and helped me out a lot. Dr.Mackenzie was literally the sweetest and her staff was so attentive. Everything from the decor to the staff was amazing! Thank you so much! You will not go wrong coming here! I love her wholistic approach and it's very rare to find a dentist who thinks that way. The level of care here is impeccable.

My husband went to have an amalgam filling removed the RIGHT way. We were so impressed with her knowledge and extreme care of details. As being healthcare professionals ourselves, we were so thankful to have someone who does things the correct way and truly cares about your entire well being while taking care of your teeth, safely. Simple repair is okay... I guess, but my procedure was too complex for Michela... I spent hours and days in the emergency room ( 3 times) at St. Josephs to resolve my angioedema- It was never her fault, but she sent me to allergists, oncologists and my primary Dr. at Emory - everything pointed back to Michela ( I refuse to call her Dr.). The angioedema attacks were horrible.... St. Josephs sent me to specialists. Due to Michela - I changed my medications ... we had no idea, but it was Michela. Now: My teeth are uneven, she pasted "cement" on one tooth to make it "look better" . She did not own her own camera to take pictures to send to the labs. Go at your own risk.

I was "suffering" from a missing tooth. My smile didn't look right with the gap and my dentist' s options were not compatible with what I had in mind. So I started my search on a dentist that offers biocompatible long lasting solutions for my gap. Dr. McKenzie not only offers my choice of material but was the only one that took the time to explain each step of the implant procedure without giving me the feeling of being an annoying patient, a feeling I got from many other dentists that I had talked to prior. Dr. McKenzie impressed me so much that I switched dentist and only see her now as she and her whole team are supernice and the treament you get are up to date and leave you with a dazzling smile-* no doubt!
