Dr. Andy Ingersoll is the newest doctor at Carson City Pediatric Dentistry. His interest in dentistry started at a young age during a visit with his great-grandfather, who was a dentist. His office was located in the basement of his home, and Dr. Andy remembered thinking dentists must have the best job ever with all those cool tools they get to use!

Originally from Utah, Dr. Andy lived in France as a church missionary for a few years after graduating from high school before coming back to Utah to attend Brigham Young University, where he earned his bachelors degree in French and a minor in Business.

After graduating from BYU, Dr. Andy attended Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH. In 2007 he received a Health Professions Scholarship while serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force while attending dental school. He went on to graduate in 2010 and was awarded the Deans Clinical Achievement Award for being one of the top clinicians in his dental class in 2010.

Dr. Andy continued his path by completing an arduous Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska, which strengthened his skills in advanced dentistry procedures.

Following his residency, the Air Force transferred the Ingersoll family to England where they served a three-year tour at RAF Lakenheath, near Cambridge, UK. Dr. Andy thoroughly enjoyed serving his country in the United States Air Force and contributed greatly to the mission of the 48th Dental Squadron.

During his time in England, Dr. Andy found a passion for pediatric dentistry. He especially enjoyed his time working with and treating the children who were stationed with their parents and decided to pursue additional training in pediatric dentistry. He and his family returned to Utah, where he was very fortunate to be one of two residents accepted into the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City. He completed specialty training in June of 2018.

Dr. Andy met his sweetheart, Lauren, while in college. They are kept busy by their five active children, three girls and two boys, and as a family they enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, biking and adventuring.

Dr. Kevin Olson, a native Nevadan, grew up in the small Nevada town of Pioche. He was the valedictorian of his class in a high school with about 200 students. He graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Nevada, Reno, with an English degree and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine in 2009, graduating Summa cum Laude.

In 2011, he completed his pediatric residency at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center and then immediately came to Carson City and opened Carson City Pediatric Dentistry. In 2019, Carson City Pediatric Dentistry opened a second location in Dayton, Nevada, called Dayton Pediatric Dentistry.

He is a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Northern Nevada Dental Society, National Dental Association, and the Nevada Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Olson met his wife, Teah, at UNR while she was completing her degree in nursing. They have four children and spend family time playing sports, reading and increasing Star Wars trivia knowledge. Dr. Olsons favorite hobby is woodworking, and several of his projects adorn the office. His most recent masterpiece is the TNT toy box.

Dr. Olson is passionate about helping children and helping make their early dental experiences positive for the rest of their lives. He also hopes that by creating more and more winning smiles, he can help the Resistance keep the First Order from taking over the galaxy.

Born a native Nevadan and member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, he has long awaited the opportunity to return home and provide care for his community after completing his educational journey. After graduating from Weber State University in Utah, he obtained his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He then provided general dental care to tribal members of the Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico for four years as a member of the Indian Health Services, which reinforced his passion for pediatrics.

In 2015, he completed his pediatric residency at Primary Childrens Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving as chief resident. To provide his patients with the highest standard in pediatric dentistry, Dr. John prepared for and achieved the pinnacle in pediatric dentistry, the written and oral board of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He currently holds the status as diplomate in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

He is member of the American Dental Association, the Northern Nevada Dental Society, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and also currently serves as President of the Society of American Indian Dentists.

He met and married his love, Lori, while attending college in Utah and they have three very active children who eagerly anticipate free time with their dad after work. He enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors, camping and hiking, playing sports and attending Wolf Pack sporting events. They love Carson City and you will probably see him and his family supporting the local community with AYSO soccer, Carson City Little League and at the pool swimming with the Tiger Sharks!

Sara has lived in Dayton for over five years, and her favorite part about working at Carson City Pediatric Dentistry and Dayton Pediatric Dentistry is seeing all the kids smile. When she has time, Sara loves cooking and spending time with her family: Isaac, Adriana, Jason and Vanessa.

Tanya, who has been with our team since September 2014 and can accommodate both English- and Spanish-speaking patients. She loves working with our doctors and team. Tanya also enjoys getting to know all of the kids and watching them grow. She has lived in Carson City for over 25 years. Tanya and her husband, Joe, have a beautiful daughter named Olivia who loves going to the park and going on walks with her dog, Juicy. When shes not hard at work, Tanya enjoys crafts, anything outdoors, going to the movies, shopping and spending time with her family. Her favorite color is pink.

Yajaira loves working with children and the Carson City Pediatric Dentistry and Dayton Pediatric Dentistry team. She was born and raised in Carson City and has a 3-year-old daughter, Zendaya. She loves spending time with her family.

Jazmin has been an outstanding member of our team for several years. She loves working with the kids they always make her laugh! and helping them have a good experience at the dentist. She has lived in the Carson City area for over 25 years and loves giving back to the community. Jazmin and her husband, Steve, have a puppy named Kobe. She also has three younger sisters. In her free time, she loves hanging out with friends and family.

Sara is CPR and OR certified and sedation trained. She has been working in dentistry for over a decade and has been a member of our team for over five years. Sara keeps the back office clean and organized and makes sure that things run smoothly. She absolutely adores working in a pediatric dental office. Getting to help kids with their smiles is something that you can never forget! Sara was born and raised in Carson City, and she loves the smiles she gets so see every day. Sara is happily married to her husband, Matt, and she has one son, Blake, and one step-son, Dylan. In her spare time, Sara enjoys baking, crafting, and hanging out with family and friends.

Alicia is one of our wonderful dental assistants. She loves working with her coworkers, especially Sara, and she has lived in the Carson City area her whole life. Alicia and her husband, Sergio, have a baby boy named Lorenzo. When she has free time, she enjoys painting.

Alicia loves getting to see her patients and work with our amazing team. She has lived in the area for over 20 years and loves giving back. Alicia has three sisters: Adriana, Gabi and Isabella. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and spending time with family.

Maile likes to help each kid leave with a smile and looks forward to their next visit. She has lived in the area for over 15 years and spends her time playing volley ball, hiking, traveling and doing anything outdoors. Mailes family consists of her mom, Rebekah, her sisters, Elena and Moki, two dogs, Shake and Lani, and two ducks, Marty and Luna.

Sienna was born and raised in Carson City area. Her favorite part of working with the Carson City Pediatric Dentistry and Dayton Pediatric Dentistry team is PTs humor! Sienna has three brothers and one sister. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and thrifting.

Sondra grew up in South Lake Tahoe. She has been working in the pediatric dental field for over a decade and has been with our practice for over five years. Sondra is the office recycler! She loves working with kids and bragging to everybody how great our office is. Sondra and her husband of over two decades have a son named Derek. In her spare time, Sondra loves playing softball, painting, baking, gardening, camping, working in her yard and spending time with her family.

Stephanie graduated from NSDA in 2018. We are thrilled to have her on our team! Stephanie takes the time needed to help each patient feel comfortable. Everyone leaves with a smile! Stephanies favorite part of working at Carson City Pediatric Dentistry and Dayton Pediatric Dentistry is our amazing patients and her friendships with her coworkers. Stephanie is the oldest of six children and a soon-to-be mom! She has lived in the area for over 25 years and loves spending time with her family and taking road trips with her boyfriend. In the summertime, she enjoys camping and swimming at Lake Tahoe. In the wintertime, she loves sledding.

Tonya has lived in the Carson City area for over 35 years. She loves the team she gets to work with and seeing the kids smile. In her free time, Tonya enjoys playing softball, camping, spending time with family, including her two daughters, Annabelle and Shawnnessy.
