Dr. R. Gregory Shelhouse is the owner and creator of Dayton Dental Collaborative. He completed his advanced dental training through The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Go Bucks! His wife, Jennifer, is an architect and designed the inspiring DDC building. A pilot since he was 16 years old, Dr. Greg loves flying.
'Having worked in the practice as an administrative assistant before attending dental school, the philosophy of DDC is deeply ingrained in my approach to dental care. I am driven by a passion to create an extraordinary dental experience for our patients.'
Dr. Randi Butler began working at DDC as an administrative assistant for Dr. Shelhouse while completing her Master's degree in Anatomy at Wright State University. With inspiration from the DDC family, she went on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry to complete her dental training. She is the first person in her family to graduate from college and enjoys working out, bike riding and walking her adorable rescue dog.
Dr. Smith was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University and received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a focus in Biomolecular Engineering and minor in Spanish. She then moved to Baltimore to earn her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. To advance her dental training, Dr. Smith completed a residency at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania with a focus on community/public health. Dr. Smith is happy to be back in the Buckeye state with her family and to join the DDC team!

Dayton Dental Collaborative offers excellent service and excellent advice on all aspects of dental care. Dr Shellhouse is a gifted, artistic dentist. He performs miracles in dental restoration and bite alignment . He is the best full service dentist I have seen ! The entire staff is awesome. From the moment you walk in the door until the moment you leave. The dental hygienist and dentist will go that extra mile to answer any questions or concerns you have. Nothing is ever rushed. I'm extremely please with this office and staff!! I will score them a 5/5!
