Dr. Bova obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and went on to get a masters degree in Business Administration at USC. Although she had a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Bova soon began to feel that her efforts were more rewarding for her company than for the people she met along the way. That is why, rather than continuing up the corporate ladder, she made the difficult decision to trade in her briefcase for a set of dental instruments.
While attending Dental School at Oregon Health & Science University, Dr. Bova was selected by the faculty for Advanced Honors in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. Since graduation, she has continued to participate actively in programs for advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dawn and her husband have been Mercer Island residents since 2003 and together with their two daughters enjoy being active members of the community. Dawn started her MI practice in 2006 with the philosophy that everyone should be treated as a person first and as a patient second. This philosophy is reflected in every aspect of her practice. Dr. Bova would like to offer you what she believes to be the finest and most personable dental care available anywhere.

You can not get any better then Dawn Bova and all her staff. Everyone is always friendly, kind , thorough , helpful and professional. I had a another dentist tell me I needed to spend around 2000 dollars to get filling replaced . I went to Dawn Bova and she told me it didn't even need replacing! Saved me 2000 dollars . They are caring kind and honest at this office .

Dr. Bova and her staff are some of the best I have experienced in the field of dentistry. Everyone takes such special care and attention to the patient's needs and the office is immaculate, clean, and efficient. I never feel like I am being rushed and the staff patiently answers all my questions. Dr. Bova is a perfectionist when it comes to restorative services I needed like crowns and a new cap. I have been seeing Dr. Bova for over a decade. She is very diligent in guarding the health of the teeth of our entire family, from lost fillings, night guards to any other needs. And our hygienist, Cecilia, is just as great. She does a thorough job every time we see her, very detailed oriented. Every cleaning feels like a deep clean.
