Welcome to our practice! I grew up nearby in Sardis, MS. I graduated from Ole Miss in 1988 and the University of Tennessee Dental School in 1993. In the spring of 1996, I bought Dr. Bill Bakers practice, which started in 1957. My favorite aspects of dentistry are restoring peoples smiles and confidence, whether that be cosmetically or just for function. In my spare time, I am an avid tennis player. I also enjoy the beach, golf, and snow skiing. We (my staff and I) would love to welcome your into our dental family.
Dr. Wilbourn graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Public Health then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma. She stayed for an extended year of training in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program where she developed advanced skills in treatment planning, restorative and implants. She is very close with her twin sister and married her husband Andrew in 2015. They had their first baby girl, Eva, in May 2018 and son James in May 2020. They love to travel and Jenny likes to run and practice yoga. Her family relocated to Oxford from Oklahoma City in August 2020. She loves getting to know patients and helping them achieve their goals! We're excited to have her grow with our practice and make a Southern Belle out of an Oklahoma Cowgirl!
Jeanette has been with Dr. Dawkins for 26 years. She has extensive training in Implants and Cerec Primescan. She is married to the love of her life and she has son, Peyton. She enjoys horseback riding and being outdoors and listening to good music.
Christy has been with Dr. Dawkins for 26 years. She is married to John and they have 2 children; Anna Carsen and John Parker. She loves to paint and redo furniture and her booth at the Mustard Seed is always filled with the finished projects.
Halla has been with Dr. Dawkins for 2 years. She is from Batesville. She will be getting married in October 2022 to her best friend Kage. She enjoys redoing antiques and spending time with family and friends.
Millie is a retired teacher from the Jackson Area. She has been married to Ray for 32 years and they have 2 sons. She attends every Ole Miss sporting event- girls soccer, football, baseball, softball.
Lacy has over 20 years of management experience and has many hours of continuing education in dental coding and insurance. She is originally from Memphis and has lived in Oxford for 5 years. She is married to Randy and they have 3 daughters- Devin, Reece and Brayden. She loves boating in Pickwick or being at the beach.
