Dr. Davis' experience and specialty training places him in a position to guide you and your child through your child's treatment phases as well as growth and development challenges as they may arise. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that all children establish a dental home by the age of one year or six months from the eruption of the first tooth. We encourage you to consider Davis Pediatric Dentistry as your child's dental home. We are devoted to the prevention of dental disease and as your child's dental home, with early involvement and enrollment in a comprehensive and continuing care program, your child will have the best chance to be decay-free. In addition, with monitoring of facial growth and development, your child's orthodontic concerns will be minimized.

Dr. Davis grew up in Roanoke and graduated from Cave Spring High School. He attended Roanoke College where he was a Junior Scholar and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Davis' dental education was completed at the Medical College of Virginia with a DDS degree. He then was accepted into and completed the Pediatric Dental residency at the Medical College of Virginia where he was selected as the chief resident and assistant clinical professor of Pediatric Dentistry.

In 1988, Dr. Davis came home to set up practice in Roanoke. Dr. Davis is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association ( VDA ),the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SSPD), and the Roanoke Valley Dental Society where he is a past president.

Dr. Davis's advocation is inventing. He is the inventor of the Dr. Brown's PreVent Pacifier and also helped in the design of the Dr. Brown's line of teethers. Dr. Davis is also the inventor of the Rhinoguard, designed and developed to help reduce the problems associated with nasal intubation. Rhinoguard is the first and only nasal endotracheal tube introducer/dilator.
