Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a Masters Degree in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry. He is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. He is currently a clinical attending dentist with the graduate pediatric dental program at UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Davis and his wife Julie feel like natives to Encinitas because they have resided in the community for over 30 years and have watched it develop and grow. Other than practicing dentistry, Dr. Davis enjoys skiing, mountain bike riding, fly-fishing and his Rotary Clubs community service projects. His most recent and favorite passion is being a grandparent to his eight grandchildren!
Dr. Matt Davis is a native of Encinitas and graduated from San Dieguito High School in 1995. He attended the University of California at Los Angeles where he received his bachelors degree in 2000. During his years at UCLA Matt played volleyball and earned two NCAA National Championships and was voted first team All American in his final year. In June of 2005 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry where he graduated with high honors and received special recognition for his treatment of pediatric patients. He was also inducted into both the Tau Kappa Omega and Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor societies. He returned to the University of California at Los Angeles where he completed a two-year Pediatric residency program. He is currently a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Davis is delighted to reside once again in Encinitas along with his wife Alynda and two daughters Abby and Logan. He enjoys surfing along with most other ocean sports and snow skiing in his free time.
Dr. Edna Pamaran received a Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002. Upon her acceptance to UCLAs School of Dentistry, she was awarded the prestigious Mary Hooley Scholarship for her promise in leadership and community service.
In 2007, Dr. Pamaran received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and was bestowed a top honor from the American Society of Dentistry for Children for excellence in pediatric dentistry. She completed a two-year Pediatric residency program at UCLA, and has dedicated much of her time to treating underserved populations during dental missions abroad. Most recently, she served as a member of the International Health Emissaries treating the dental needs of children in Guatemala. She is a Diplomat for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Pamaran is happy to have returned to her hometown of San Diego. In addition to spending time with their identical twin girls and baby boy, she and her husband Nino enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and laughing with family and friends.

Dr. Matt and his entire team are always so kind and helpful! My 5 year old son loves visiting the fun and upbeat environment at Davis pediatric, he especially loves the prizes! Very smooth and professional experiences every visit! Although they're all wonderful, I highly recommend Ashley as a dental assistant!

We have been coming to Davis Dentistry with our boys since they were little. They're now teenagers...one in college and the other starting next fall. My boys are so comfortable discussing their concerns with Dr. Matt. We always appreciate his honest assessment and advice. Cannot say enough about how this ENTIRE office, from the front desk to the back office, takes care of our family. Wish they could stay patients here forever!

My daughter loves Dr Matt and all his staff. She has had four baby teeth pulled. Each time it has been easy and she loves going back. Can't thank you enough for your professionalism and making it a positive experience.

I would like to thank the entire Davis Pediatric team for always being so punctual. It is so refreshing to have people respect your time and keep things running smoothly. With 4 kids and all of their activities as well as my own, I appreciate how smoothly you run. We have been coming there for over 18 years and do not recall ever waiting past our scheduled time. Everyone is always so kind, smiling and a pleasure to work with. My kids always look forward to their appointments, and I always know that we will be on our way when expected.
