After dental school, Dr. Buddy Davis completed his specialty training in an orthodontic residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident. He also did post-residency craniofacial and surgical orthodontic fellowship training. Eventually, he opened Davis Orthodontics in order to offer patients the most advanced care in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Dr. Adam Hardin completed two years of general practice residency in New York City following dental school. He then went on to specialty training in an orthodontic residency program at St. Louis University. Hes thrilled to be back in the upstate as part of the Davis Orthodontics team and looks forward to serving the community he grew up in.
Dr. Sarah McKee grew up in Mt. Pleasant, SC before attending Clemson University for her undergraduate degree where she earned her bachelors degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Administration. After college, Dr. McKee moved back to the South Carolina coast where she went on to receive her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Buddy has always enjoyed school and graduated cum laude from both Furman University with a bachelors degree in health and exercise science and the University of Louisville, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He was also honored with membership in the Delphi Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society during his time at the University of Louisville. After dental school, Dr. Buddy completed his specialty training in an orthodontic residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident and obtaining a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He wrapped things up with post-residency craniofacial and surgical orthodontic fellowship training.
Away from the classroom, Dr. Buddy excelled on the golf course. He was an All Southern Conference golfer and Most Valuable Player on the Furmans mens golf team. He was even named a Cleveland Golf Academic All American two consecutive years.
These days, Dr. Buddy pursues continuing education offerings on a local and national level. Through these courses and seminars, hes able to stay up to date on the most recent scientific findings and technology in order to offer only the best, proven orthodontic treatments to his patients.
Dr. Buddys passion for education doesnt just apply to his own training. Hes an Assistant Clinical Professor within the Division of Orthodontics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. There, he serves as an attending orthodontist and teaches orthodontic residents in all aspects of the field.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Dr. Buddy now lives in Greenville, SC with his wife, Sarah-Ann, and their four children, Trey, Mary-Claire, Anna-Bea and William. When hes not busy perfecting smiles, he can usually be found spending time with his family, golfing, playing tennis, exercising or cheering on the Florida State Seminoles. Hes also active within his church, Westminster Presbyterian Church.
While the atmosphere at Davis Orthodontics is light and upbeat and Dr. Buddy strives to make it a place where patients and his team can express themselves and have fun (theme days, anyone?), he is serious about offering the highest quality of care and making the world a better place. He participates in the Smiles Change Lives program, which offers pro bono treatment to those who cannot afford braces. He also volunteers with the SC Childrens Rehabilitative Services Program, treating children with craniofacial anomalies who are in need of orthodontics.

One of the few healthcare facilities I genuinely look forward to visiting. Short wait times, friendly & knowledgeable staff, excellent care, and fun incentives for kids. A+ all around. I rarely write reviews but Davis Orthodontics deserves the praise!

Great Honest Orthodontist place. I took my daughter for phase 2 check up and they told me she did not need Braces. I really recommend this place , it's clean, everyone is nice and most importantly they are honest.

I've had years of work at Davis orthodontics and I can say its worth it and would surely recommend them. After my first year and part of year two with Davis Ortho, I was very pleased with service and staff. Coming upon year three and four, I became very disappointed that it was taking longer than the initial two year estimation. Additionally, I was frustrated with the lack of communication at each appointment regarding what was being done with each adjustment, what progress was to be expected and an updated timeline moving forward. I requested a meeting when I was able to share my concerns and experience up to that point including the semi-trauma of braces as a child. After meeting with Dr. Davis my experience has exceptionally improved. I was given more information and details regarding updates at each appointment. Anything that may change my timeline toward completion is discussed. I am truly grateful for the team at Davis Ortho listening to my anxious heart and being sensitive to my distress regarding braces. I deeply appreciate Dr David and his team's time and effort to see me through what has been a longer than anticipated and emotional process. I am more confident now in the end result.

I only consulted with this office for a retainer adjustment and my teeth are now in worse condition as I came in due to the retainer adjustments the doctors here made, plus, ruined my retainer. I explicitly explained my situation numerous times. Numerous of the nurses there just seem like they're confused and have no knowledge whatsoever. Now I must pay extra to get my teeth fixed by another orthodontist for this mess. Very disappointed for something that should have been such an easy fix. It's not like I was getting braces or Invisalign.

Stacy and Buddy are amazing. This is a very good practice. Stacy greeted me by my first name every time and felt like I was welcomed home. She's so nice and simply a lovely person and professional. Dr. Buddy was also incredibly kind and was personable which is really nice. A lot of docs are cold and just there because they have to be, I always felt like he wanted to be there which made me more comfortable. Those two stood out the most to me but everyone else was also very kind as well. The facility is clean and bright and they're always prompt and on time. I can't remember anyone scheduling me into an awkward time or anything. I wore braces for over a year and that's exactly how long they said I would from day 1. They always tightened or fixed any issue, but to be honest, I just followed their guidelines and that's why this worked. Brushed, flossed, and mouth-washed faithfully and stayed away from the foods I was supposed to stay away from. The braces did the rest and I am very happy with the results. I am thrilled with the experience and highly recommend this practice without reservation.

We switched to Dr. Buddy and they were very compassionate and met and exceeded everything from customer care, communication, results, and financial matters. Very professional staff. Always prompt. Have helped us for years tracking my son's progress before being ready for braces. They done xrays and consults and referrals...all before we made any investment in ortho. Highly recommend.
