I've had dentist experiences in the past where I felt pushed into getting procedures which seemed unnecessary. And in hindsight they were probably pushed to pay for all their fancy new equipment. Dr Davis is a breath of fresh air whose extensive experience provides a well balanced and sensible approach to oral care.

Dr. Davis cares about your mouth, no matter how bad it might be. In the past, dentists would criticize me. Grew up military from 0 to 21, so the least and most painful amount was done. Davis never criticized me, he just took care of the problem and gave me good advice. Thanks, Doc.

Dr. Davis fixed a crown for me that another dentist left a gap in, causing decay under the crown and also causing a LOT of discomfort. He was super thorough in making sure the crown fit perfectly - he even sent it back to the lab after the first fitting to have it adjusted because he didn't like the fit. He was great about the whole thing. Also, if you require a lot of lidocaine to get numb, he'll use as much as he as you need him to so you don't feel anything.

I referred this dentist to a friend, and unfortunately she had a horrible experience. The procedure was for a simple tooth extraction, and she ended up with bone fragments left in her gums. She was told that this is not uncommon. Excuse me but I have had two extractions and never had bone fragments left in my gums. This dentist absolutely does not believe in pain management. After the extraction she explained that she was unable to tolerate tylenol due to a kidney disorder. When she asked for a different medication, he absolutely refused and responded as if she were asking for heroine. I understand that we have a drug problem in society, but if a patient just had oral surgery a doctor should have compassion for the pain that follows. I feel horrible for her pain and suffering and will never recommend or use this dentist ever again.
