Mediocre service at best. Last time I was there, I was under the impression I was getting a permanent filling for a tooth I recently had a root canal on. Nope, they decided that they were going to do the rest of my teeth without telling me before the appointment, and they just completely ignored the tooth that needed the permanent filling, and now it's decaying. At this point, I would've been better off just paying for an oral surgeon or another dentist to clean my teeth. When I needed my wisdom tooth pulled and needed a referral, they referred me to a place almost 100 miles away, saying that was the closest place that accepted Ohio Medicaid, which is a complete lie. I'll be changing dentists after I get my wisdom tooth pulled. I feel like this place just completely wasted my time and just made my situation worse. Also, they always have Christian music playing, and I mean ALWAYS. It's fine for a bit if you're going for an in and out appointment, but not when you've just been numbed up and you have to wait 20 minutes for him to come back, to give some more numbing injections to start a different procedure than the one you asked for. Like the others have said here, DO NOT go to this place. It also seems suspicious that both times after I've gone here, my wisdom tooth ends up infected. Seriously, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt after seeing the negative reviews, but after seeing the temporary filling decaying, along with the rest of the tooth, which I'm almost certain he saw and said "Looks good", I'm beyond furious.

Went in for a filling and he decided to shave the back of a tooth he wasn't supposed to work on. It later turned into a bad cavity. He also wanted to do root canals on all my teeth when none of my teeth needed it. He is very rough with your jaw, grouchy and stingy with numb medicine. I move to medinger

I had an abscess tooth for a while and it only took two appointments for them to get it taken care of. They numbed me and pulled it out with no pain at all. Excellent staff. Friendly people. Love it there!

My oldest daughter had an abscess tooth for over a year, I would make appointments to have it fixed and we would come in and he would tell me they were overbooked and just prescribe antibiotics and reschedule...this went on for over a year until I switched dentist. My middle child was also a patient at the same time and she was scared to get the numbing shots and I finally talked her into it and he came in and started drilling in her tooth without using any numbing and sat on her chest and told kept loudly telling her to hold still (this was my last straw) I changed dentists and never went back.

Great people! Dr. John has gone far beyond any dentist I've ever gone to. He has even given me his cell number in the past incase I needed him after hours. He met me at the office one time, late in the evening, on a weekend when I was having a terrible time with a tooth. While he was working on me, I had a spell with my blood pressure going through the roof and he and his wife went to the ER with me and my husband and waited there past midnight to make sure I was OK. Like I said, great people!

I'm honestly not sure why there are so many bad reviews... but in my situation I would like to say I've been coming to Dr John T Davis for a little over 14 years. I feel very confident coming to him with any dentistry need. I've had fillings, braces, chipped tooth repairs, cleanings... you name it. All have been exceptional work. If I ever felt unhappy he has made sure to fix any of my problems, and would never let me leave there without being completely satisfied. I've never been a fan of going to the dentist, but I feel at ease knowing I've been in great hands going on 2 decades. Many of my family members also see him and can say the same thing. As far as staffing goes, i have always loved the ladies in his office. They are always so nice and welcoming to me. Highly recommend!

Not a good experience at all. Staff was rude and the lady that handles the billing is completely incompetent. Unable to enter billing for insurance correctly, costing me money. Refused to reimburse. No problems with the dentist, just his incompetent staff.

Awful! 3 canceled appointments, filling came out within 2 months & They refused to let the parent in the room with a minor. (They used COVID law as a reason, do I called the health department, and they said that is not a COVID law or even a guideline). I've been going here for 12 years and always tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but it's gotten worse with every visit. They also made us come back 4 times for 3 fillings because they refused to fill them all at once, yet charged me office visits each time.
