He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Medical College of Virginia. He did a graduate training in anatomy and research in local anesthetics at MCV Hospital. After dental school, Dr. Davis did a General Practice Hospital Residency at Shands Hospital, The University of Florida. His hospital residency included all aspects of dentistry, anesthesiology, and treatment of medically compromised and geriatric patients. Dr. Davis has also taken advanced training in anesthesia at Montefiore Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical College in New York City.

Dr. Davis has completed a number of continuing education courses in all phases of general dentistry. He is a graduate of The Misch Dental Implant Institute at The University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Davis is a fellow of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Davis is licensed to administer conscious sedation. Dr. Davis is one of the few dentist trained to provide Prettau Fixed Dentures.

Originally from New England, she is the proud mom of 2 boys: one serving in the US Navy and the other completing his college education. Sherry has 3 wonderful grandchildren that are her world, but currently in Japan.

Stacey has been in dentistry for 35 years, with years spent in the Army, Western New York and Venice. She has been with Drs. Davis & Beyer since 1999. She is truly passionate about all aspects of dentistry & is currently functioning in a management capacity as well as chairside dentistry.

Jacelyn is originally from Baltimore, MD. She moved to sunny Florida in 2001. Jacelyn has been a dental assistant since 2007 and has worked in Orthodontics, Periodontics and Oral Surgery. Jacelyn enjoys relaxing on the beach, walking in the woods, and fishing. Her life revolves around raising her son, Nate, and her Mastiff, Rex. Helping people and making a difference in peoples lives is what makes Jacelyn happy.

Dr. Brent Beyer moved to Venice in 1994 from Reading, Pennsylvania. He was educated in local schools in Reading and graduated in 1980 from Lafayette College in Easton, PA with a degree in Biology. While at Lafayette, Dr. Beyer lettered in football for four years.

Dr. Beyer received his dental degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. This was followed by a general practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Reading. After his residency, Dr. Beyer was in solo private practice for eight years. During that time, he was involved as a preceptor in the General Practice Dental Residency Program at St. Joseph Hospital. He joined the practice of Dr. Davis and Dr. Higel in 1995.

Dr. Beyer has completed several thousand hours of continuing education courses in general, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry. He is particularly interested in cosmetic and implant dentistry. He completed an advanced continuum in esthetic dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. Dr. Beyer has also completed a twelve-month dental implant training program at the American Dental Implant Training Center in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Beyer is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association and Sarasota County Dental Association. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Jorge likes to spend quality time with his son if he is not cooking some delicious meal that he has grown out of his garden. Even as Jorge is a fabulous cook he also enjoys experiencing dining establishments as well. Jorge has been with the Dr's Davis and Beyer since 2002.

Marylou has been a dental assistant for over 30 years She was born and raised in Massachusetts. Marylou started her dental assisting career in 1978. She moved to Florida in 2003 and brought her caring and compassionate dental assisting expertise to Dr's. Davis and Beyer in 2004.

Sheri has been with us since 2006! She is very knowledgebale in all aspects of dentistry. Her focus is to make sure each patient receives compassionate and quality care. She is a dedicated wife and mother to her 2 children. In her spare time she enjoys the gym, beach, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Lewicki graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he received the Clinical Oral Pathology Award. He earned his undergraduate degree in Movement Science with High Distinction from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Caroline has been at Davis and Beyer since the fall of 2008. She enjoys living a peaceful life with her daughters, family & friends. Her hobbies include being active & enjoying the outdoor Florida life. From Swamp to sea is where she loves to be.

Emily interned and eventually returned to Drs. Davis & Beyer in June 2020 following graduation from Manatee Technical College. When Emily isn't working she enjoys spending time at the gym, the beach and with friends, family and her two dogs Toby & Molly.

Linda has been at Davis & Beyer since 1987 and she started as Certified Dental Assistant with Dr. Ron Higel, one of the practice founders. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, its local chapters of Florida Hygiene Association and Sarasota Manatee Hygiene Association. She is also our Christmas Smiles Coordinator.

Donna has been a valued member of Davis & Beyer since 1996. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, its local chapters of Florida Hygiene Association and Charlotte Hygiene Association.

Shawn has been part of our practice since 1995, starting as a Certified Dental Assistant 7 returning to complete her AS degree in Dental hygiene in 2002. She has been practicing Hygiene since 2006, and finally going on to achieve her Anesthesia Certification. She is a proud member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, its local chapters of Florida Hygiene Association and Sarasota Manatee Hygiene Association.

Elisha has been in the dental field for over 9 years and she started as a Certified Dental Assistant. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, its local chapter of Sarasota Manatee Hygiene Association in which she resides on the board.

Alejandra is from Columbia where she was trained as a dentist. She has more than 20 years of experience in the dental field & Drs. Davis and Beyer are happy she is finally with our Team. She moved to Colorado and eventually Florida 18 years ago.

Doreen stated at Davis and Beyer in 2008, after moving to Florida in 2006. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, its local chapters of Florida Hygiene Association and West Coast Dental Hygiene Association.

As a Venice native and VHS alum, he graduated from St. Petersburg Dental Hygiene Program as class president in 1984. Dentistry is in his genes as his father was a dentist in Venice for over 50 years and his sister has an active dental practice in Venice. His hobbies include scuba diving, boating, fishing and jet skiing. He has 2 sons, Ryan and Rees, who attend college in Florida.

9Debbie has been in the dental profession for 47 years, 10 of which have been with Davis & Beyer. Originally from Foxboro & Cape Cod Massachusetts, Debbie enjoys the beach, theater, gardening, cooking and spending time with family & friends.

Rayann has been a part of the team at Drs. DAvis & Beyer since 2020. Sher recieved her assisting certificate from Charlotte Technical College. She realized her true desire is to work as a dental hygienist, so she is currently taking prerequisite course and hopes to apply to the dental hygiene program soon.

Christine joined our team in August of 2019. She is a Florida Certified Public Accountant since 2003. Christine has a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Penn State and an B.S. in Accounting from the University of South Florida. She has worked in a variety of industries including insurance products, habitat restoration and real estate. Although new to the dental field, she brings many years of financial and managment experience to our practice.

Christine is originally from Pennsylvania and relocated to the Venice Area in 1996. She is married with 2 children and enjoys boating with her family and friends. She also enjoys volunteering and has worked with local organizations like Sarasota Scallers Youth Rowing Programs, Laurel Nokomis PTO, and Venice High Marching Band.

Heather is a Florida native born and raised in Port Charlotte, Florida. She is married with two children and has a strong belief in family values. Heather graduated from MCC, with an associates degree. One of her passions is coaching volleyball and she is currently coaching at North Port High School and Jellys Volleyball club. She loves working with and shaping today's youth. Heather has always had an interest in the dental industry and has been working in dentistry since 2012. She joined our office in 2018.

Anna has been involved in dentistry since 2013 & continues to learn new and exciting things everyday. She began as an assistant & she truly understands how much dedication & devotion that goes into every procedure. Anna's time is now dedicated to help patients understand insurance & treatment options. Anna was born & raised in Connecticut & settled in Florida in 2017. Ashley is from Iowa and is happily married to a 'southern gentleman' she met while serving in the Navy. Together they have 5 children (4 boys & a girl). Ashley has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and began her career in dentistry in 2017. She loves interacting with patients everyday. Outside of work, Ashley loves animals, singing & music. She plays the clarinet and loves exploring new places and restaurants in our community.
