I inherited this firm when my dentist retired. They try to sneak additional charges past you constantly and do so without disclosure. X-rays you don't need, or want. 'Consult' fees. Very untrustworthy group to deal with. Sloppy dental work put me in constant pain for nearly a year and their advice was to 'floss more often'. They tried to charge me $50 for that brilliant diagnosis. Turns out they had done a horrible job on a filling that needed redone. Their hygienists are first class, but trust me folks, go elsewhere .

I have been with this dentist for over 10 years. They recently made an appointment mistake and would not admit it and charged me $50 for the missed appointment with no ownership for the mistake even though I had the original appointment card. Be extra careful with details if you decide to use their services.

Choosing this small office thru MetLife Dental in Bluffton was THE Worse decisision I have made in finding a good dental practice near my home in Bluffton. I visited numerous offices and chose this one as they had 3 dentists in their practice. I did not want to choose a place that only had 1 practitioner. In case of emergencies, I feel the importance of have multiple dentists to care for me if one is unavailable. I originally thought that I was signing up for the 3 dentists and later found out that Dr. Davis and Dr. Wine would NOT see me even in an emergency case. The front desk informed me several times that I was Dr. Lennick's patient and not the owners of the business. Turns out that Dr. Lennick's is just part-time, coming back after a long hiatus from dentistry. Then, it turned out that she only works part-time and was never available on my days off. I was told that I needed a root canal and was sent to Beaufort. I only had a short time to get in to see Dr. Lennick to put a crown on that fragile tooth. As that tooth became very loose and my gums were exceedingly painful, I called to get an "emergency" visit from any of the dentists. Again, I was told that I was only Dr. Lennick's patient and had to wait a long time to get in to see her. By the time I got an appointment with her, that tooth came out -- so now, instead of having a simple crown placed on that tooth, I'm undergoing major oral surgery for a bone graft and an implant -- so far my bill is $3,143.00!!! And the audacity of Davis & Wine -- they keep sending me a bill for $200 and do you think that they actually think I'm coming back into that office to replace the tooth in a couple of months? I've never seen Dr. Davis and Dr. Wine in that office -- Wondering if they still work there or did they give the office to Dr. Lennick.

After my experience with Dr. Lenick yesterday, I couldn't miss the opportunity to give her a raving review. I have been with this practice for about five years but it was only my third visit with Dr. Lenick. She has been consistently thorough in her approach, she educates and most of all she LISTENS! She is vey knowledgeable and experienced and offers options outside of traditional practices. She went in to address one issue and noticed another that should be addressed quickly and she did. She treats her patients as if she is practicing on herself. Each time I visit, she mentions that she loves what she does and it shows. If you are looking for new dentist or are unsatisfied with your current one, please consider her. The office staff is also phenomenal and friendly. You won't be disappointed.

BEST Dentist in town! The girls up front are on top of everything ALWAYS. Candice took such good care of me I wish I could have my teeth cleaned by her every month! My mouth felt amazing by the time I left, and Dr. Wine really took the time to explain and address any issues that I was having. This team is very informative and provided me an outstanding experience! Thank you Dr. Wine and Associates! See you in August!!

Davis & Wine Dental Office (Okatie/Bluffton, SC) I was calling as a New patient - needed a extraction procedure perform as soon as possible. They did not have an available appt. for that procedure but the team did managed to get me in office SAME DAY via through cleaning appt availability. I was able get cleaning plus X-ray /exam consultation completed with Dr. Wine on that particular tooth.
