Dr. Rachel is a native to western Washington. She completed her undergraduate at Seattle University with a degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Rachel received her dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska, and it is while at Creighton she met and married Dr. Kirk. Upon graduation, she returned with Dr. Kirk to his home town of Coeur dAlene. Dr. Rachel completed a one-year general dentistry residency in Spokane at the Yakima Valley Farm Worker public health clinic. In 2012 she began working as a dentist full time with Heritage Health (formerly Dirne). While still involved with Heritage Health, Dr. Rachel is happy to have joined the Davidson Family Dental Team in early 2014.
Dr. Rachel is also an involved member of the Idaho State Dental Association as well as the ADA. She currently participates in the Pinnacle Study Club with a group of local dentists. Through her involvement in community health, Dr. Rachel has participated in many service and local outreach events such as Give Kids a Smile and Panhandle Health outreach.
Dr. Rachel is happy to be part of the Davidson Family Dental team. She loves working in an office where patient care comes first. When not at work, Dr. Rachel enjoys running, spending time at the lake, skiing, and amateur gardening.

Just had my first appointment here and it was one of the best dental experiences I have ever had! Staff was so friendly and communicated everything they we're doing and why very well. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and that the process was as painless as possible! The dentist was very knowledgeable and showed/explained everything he was looking at and how to take care of potential problem areas. He didn't push any unneeded treatments (unlike some salesman like dentists iv had in the in the past) but instead helped me to understand how I could keep an eye on and take care of certain areas to prevent any extensive work. An awesome dentist office all the way around, would definitely recommend!

I have seen a few Dentists, and I was very disappointed. When I found Dr. Davidson I wasn't sure, however after the first appointment I knew I found the Dentist for life. I can't say enough about what an amazing Dentist he is, or how great his staff is. Thank you Dr Davidson and staff!

My wife and I have been going to Davidson Family Dental for at least 20 years... We have always felt taken care of. They help with reminders and keep us well maintained. They are understanding and everyone has always been pleasant. I can't think of any unpleasant memories over the years. Even the gum grafts were decent. They kept in contact and helped to keep the pain (if there was any) at a minimum. They are good!

Best dentists!!! Everyone at the office is amazing! I Highly recommend, and that's coming from a gal who hates going to the dentist. We now drive 4 hours for appointments, because they are the BEST!
