I don't typically do reviews or get involved with rating companies but I feel compelled to provide a review and recommendation for Dr. Tucks office. I rated him at 5 stars because I would highly recommend him as a dentist and here is why. I've been going to Dr. Tuck for all of my dental work for over 25 years. I have had a substantial amount of work done to my teeth due to overall poor maintenance and a water skiing accident where many of my teeth were knocked loose. I'm not the kind of patient who goes in for a cleaning and has one cavity. I'm more the guy who lets a problem fester then go in for several root canals and crowns. In my line of work, it is important for me to have a nice smile. My teeth made me look unkempt. Dr. Tuck replaced my top row of teeth with crowns and they look wonderful. Now when I smile, I feel comfortable and confident. I no longer have to worry about smiling with my mouth closed so people don't see my teeth. I can proudly smile and know that my teeth look good! Furthermore, I really hate the novacaine shots and really don't like having dental work done. Dr. Tuck does a wonderful job of keeping me at ease during the procedures and his office has a comfortable atmosphere. He is friendly and has a great sense of humor that helps to lighten the mood during very serious work. Additionally, his office provides nitrous oxide gas during the procedures upon request. I always get the gas and it helps tremendously with the anxiety I get just being in the dentist chair. Insurance doesn't cover it but to me it is well worth the small extra charge. In terms of costs, I've found Dr. Tuck to be very fair and reasonable. Much of the work I've had done goes beyond what my insurance covers and the amount he charges for the self pay work is very much in line. I haven't really shopped around for dentists based on price though. I've seen a couple other dentists due to emergencies, but to me, having a dentist that I feel comfortable with and who knows my dental situation is far more important then price. His staff is friendly and helpful, and everyone truly cares about making me feel like I'm more then just a patient. In conclusion, my experience with Dr. Tuck has been overall wonderful. Over the past 25 plus years, and through many major procedures, I've found him to be an exceptional dentist. I keep going back to Dr. Tuck for all of my dental work because he is knowledgeable, his work is top notch, his prices are fair and reasonable, and they provide an atmosphere that reduces my anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Tuck as a solid choice of dentists.
