Dr. Hyten grew up in Edwardsville and graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1989. He was on the Dean's List at the University of Illinois and received a BS in Engineering while there. He received his Dental Degree from SIU Dental School in Alton, IL.

We have been going to Dr Hyten for 14 years and been so pleased with this office! They are on time and his staff is very professional and fun! It 's a great family office! They are also a big supporter of our community and schools! '

Rude British accent lady! Never come here despite not even setting foot in the office. Because of her attitude! She approached our car and shouted at us! Very rude lady who shouldn't be working with people!

Super easy to schedule and quick to get into as well. Everyone there is efficient and great at what they do. They are all personable and easy to work with! I lost my voice and was able to text to get everything set-up without issue. I have a terrible anxiety about dentistry after a few bad experiences with other providers. Dr Hyten and team make the experience easy and address questions and pain management issues skillfully.

I am extremely terrified of dentists. But the atmosphere, staff, and Dr. Hyten really made me feel very calm and safe. The staff is very patient and understanding and explains everything to me. Dr. Hyten was very gentle and did an amazing job. I have already booked my next appointment.

Had a tooth that was hurting really bad and needed pulled. The staff there was friendly and professional. Dr. Hyten made the procedure quick and easy!

I am so amazed by Dr. Hyten and his amazing staff! I was on my second attempt to bring my father in for his dental appointment because it can be a struggle since he has dementia. It looked like he was refusing to leave his room again and I called to reschedule for a third time. After rescheduling he came out of his room at the last minute ready to go to his appointment. I called back and they graciously allowed my father his appointment albeit we arrived 10 minutes late. He had chipped an old filling and instead of requiring us to make a new appointment they filled it that same appointment! It was so touching that the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this dentist!!

I was disappointed that he didn't care about my extreme pain level due to infection from a tooth he pulled because he gave me no antibiotics.. He didn't care to examine my mouth before cementing in a permanent bridge when I told him about the problem.

Hands down the best I have been to. His staff was friendly, professional, and supportive. Dr. Hyten was very skilled, thorough, and caring as well. Had a tooth needing taken out that Park Place Dental said could not be done except by oral surgeon back in December. Fast forward to now and the tooth had broken even more. I was recommended to try calling Dr. Hyten. Called on Tuesday, got in and the tooth removed Thursday. Best part I did not feel it. My whole family will be seeing him from now on.

Rather disappointed. The people here were very kind. The only issue is that I asked a week before the procedure what would be covered, before it occurred, and after it was done for confirmation. They shared I owed a reasonable amount up front and that the rest was fully covered by my insurance. I then got a surprise bill that was beyond what I initially paid for my filling. I attempted twice to reach out via email due to no contact and not being in office. I have still received no reply. I guess I will pay this bill so no further consequences arise in the future
