Dr. David Toney has practiced dentistry in Allen, TX for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1978 with a bachelor of science degree in biology with a special interest in psychology. In 1982 he entered Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated in 1986 with a doctor of dental surgery degree. That same year he established his practice in Allen.
Dr. Toney has accumulated over 500 hours of continuing education in subjects such as cosmetic dentistry, infection control, patient comfort, customer service, oral surgery, endodontics [root canals], periodontics [gum therapy], implants, temporomandibular joint dysfunction [TMD], and orthodontics. In 2006, he became accredited as a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has also received Fellowships in the Academy of Dentistry International and the prestigious International College of Dentists. He recently became a member of the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentists.
Dr. Toney has been married to his wife, Beverly, since 1983 and is the father of two grown children. He has taught Bible studies for youth and adults for over 25 years. He served on the Prosper Independent School Board as a trustee for 9 years, serving as it's president for 3 years. Coaching his childrens sports teams has brought him great fulfillment through the years. He continues to coach high school girls softball in the offseason. He has also been involved indental missionsfor over 20 years.
For many years, Dr. Toney traveled extensively across the United States with his brothers and cousins in Christian bands called the Toney Brothers and The Renaissance. Dr Toney, his brothers and his father still sing occasionally and have recently released a CD entitledGenerations.

Mindy is the newest member of our front office, but has fit in with our team seamlessly.Although new to dentistry, she was already a patient of Dr Toney's and loved coming to the office, seeing the staff and all things teeth related! Mindy is also blessed to have a big family that loves being together as often as possible and her sweet Lab, Annabelle. In her free time, sheenjoys traveling, hiking, baking, yoga and a good latte!
Tammy started her career in dentistry as Dr. Toneys hygiene coordinator, just out of high school in 1991.While she only worked with us for a few years, she has continued to work in the dental field. We are thrilled that Tammy returned to our practice in 2013 as our Financial/Insurance Coordinator. She has acquired valuable, expanded knowledge of policies and procedures in the past 20+ years and puts those to use for our patients, working with their insurance companies to ensure maximum benefits are received for each visit.
Tammy was raised in Anna, Texas and continues to make her home there.She enjoys spending time with her two grown sons, Jordan and Jake.She loves animals and has three dogs of her own and cares for her neighborhoods feral cats and raccoons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies and crime documentaries. Tammys favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Lauren joined our dental team March 2016. She grew up in Allen and is an Allen Eagle Alumni. Lauren now lives in Wylie and is married to her best friend, CJ. Lauren has two kiddos, Jailynn & Cullen. She truly enjoys motherhood and loves watching them grow. Lauren enjoys a warm cup of coffee and a book to read. She is a natural homebody and loves the view of the corn field across from her house. Lauren is thankful to be a part of a team that believes in blessing others.
Chelsea joined our front office team in January 2019. She is originally from Frisco, TX, and currently resides in McKinney. With previous experience in the medical field, she has jumped right into the wonderful world of dentistry and absolutely loves it. Chelsea, and herfianc Mark, are the proud parents of their adorable daughter, Aubrey, who is Chelsea 's little 'mini me.' She enjoys going to check out the newest movies, spending time with family, and traveling the globe with friends. Chelsea loves the challenge of trying something new and jumped at the chance to work with Dr. Toney and our team. She has fallen in love with our amazing patients.
Brandy has been in the dental field since 2002 and joined our team in Feb. 2018. She grew up in Westminster and currently resides in McKinney, and has so for the past 20+ years. She has a grown son, Trevor, who is finishing up school at the University of North Texas and she also has afur baby, Spencer. Brandy enjoys working out, is currently going to college part-time and loves to travel any chance she can get. She also enjoys spending time with friends in her free time.
