Dr. Humerickhouse was born at R.A.F. Station Burtonwood, England and eventually moved to El Cajon, California where he graduated with honors from Santana High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from San Diego State University, followed by his D.D.S. degree from the University of Southern California Dental School.
Since that time, Dr. Humerickhouse has spent countless hours on patient care, as well as specialized studies, in his pursuit to develop a truly excellent dental practice. A hallmark of his work has been his attention to the latest technological advances. Constantly trying to improve and ensure that his patients have the best experience possible, Dr. Humerickhouse is continually incorporating the most innovative, proven tools of the trade into his practice.
This interest in providing 'the very best' for his patients also translates into the continuing education studies that he chooses. He has completed 2 years of advanced Esthetic Dental studies at UCLA, orthodontics and craniomandibular orthopedics, and a mini residency in implantology. Dr. Humerickhouse loves his career choice and looks forward to many more years of service to his patients.

I was recommend by a family friend because I was in so much pain. Turns out I needed a root canal. My first appointment there wasn't bad. Dr Humerickhouse said he would clean out the tooth that was causing me pain and kill the nerves. Fast forward a couple days later it's Saturday evening and I start getting very bad pain . It was unbearable, so I called his office and it directs you to an after hours number for dental emergencies. My husband called for me and put it on speaker . At first nobody answered so we hung up. A few min later we get a call back from what sounded like a very annoyed dr humerickhouse. He asked us how we got his number as if he had forgotten it was given by his own office , which we explained. And he seemed upset that we didn't leave a voicmail the first time we called. He also explained he was out of town and could not help me much . He did prescribe me antibiotics. So Monday morning I came in as an emergency appointment from the pain and he was not very polite or welcoming. He seemed irritated by me and made me feel very uncomfortable. I sat on his chair crying tears of pain and they informed me he doesn't give out pain prescriptions so I had no choice but to be in pain and they basically sent me home in tears with no help or reliefe from the pain I was in. Not to mention they started drilling on that tooth with no numbing or anything because they had filled my tooth up with too much filling from my previous appointment and it was rubbing against my bottom teeth causing even more pain. They also had my root canal scheduled almost a month out. No way I would last that long in pain. I ended up going to another dentist who was very kind and empathetic and who found that I had a huge infection that had spread to my sinuses. It was spreading up farther into my head which is dangerous. They were able to take care of my pain and do my root canal within a day of my appointment. I wish i would of received that kind of concern and care from Dr Humerickhouse. A patient should not feel like a burden or uncared for or left in excruciating pain the way i was left in his care .

I've been going to Dr Humerickhouse for several years and he's always done a great job. Really great staff too. Recently i had a bad toothache Friday night. Managed to get ahold of him Saturday. Even though i know he had a lot going on at home, he came down to the office and relieved the pain. Didn't act inconvenienced at all. He always tries to accommodate us with our insurance- waiting when he can when we reach our annual maximum. I highly recommend him.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to the staff is amazing and kind when I got my deep clean done I was so comfortable no pain I actually fell asleep I would recommend this place to anyone

I chipped my front tooth, called Dr. Humerickhouse to get an appointment expecting it to be at least a few days away. They asked me to come down right away. I was so grateful for them to go out of their way to help me get my smile back. I wasn't even a patient of theirs, but they still shifted the schedule to get me in. I am so grateful for this. Definitely switching dentists for me and my family

They can never accommodate me and my work schedule, I have explained to them that my work schedule is always unpredictable and have to canceled multiple times. I had to call to reschedule and they told me if I miss another appointment, they CAN'T schedule me with them ANYMORE. What kind of service is that?
