After Dr. Robertson graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, he attended the UNC School of Dentistry. While at UNC, he received the Mosby Award for academic excellence. He graduated in 1985, and immediately began practicing in Sea Level, NC. In 1989, he joined Dr. Walter Whites practice in Morehead City. Following Dr. Whites retirement, he and his wife Terry built the practices current office on Bridges Street.
Dr. Robertson and his team have worked together to build a practice that reflects their values. They understand that the best way to produce better health outcomes is to develop long-term relationships with patients, and that those relationships are based on listening and respect. He considers getting to know his patients and their families a highlight of his career.
Being an active part of the community has always been a priority for Dr. Robertson. He served on the committee that helped to create the Carteret County Health Departments Miles of Smiles dental bus, which provides quality dental care to the areas underserved elementary and middle school students. Dr. Robertson is also a regular volunteer with the Baptist Dental Bus Ministry, providing dental care to those in need through the Broad Street Clinic. In his free time, he plays lead trumpet with the Morehead Brass Consortium.
Dr. Robertson is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, the Crystal Coast Study Club, the Lookout Study Club and the Four Corners Study Club. He and his wife Terry have lived in Carteret County since 1985. They are members of First United Methodist Church and the proud parents of two grown daughters, Kate and Helen.

Anna earned her dental hygiene degree from the University of Louisville in 1980 and worked with Dr. White prior to Dr. Robertsons arrival. She and her husband Alan live in Swansboro and have two children, Alex and Alanna.
She received her dental hygiene degree from Fayetteville Tech in 2001 and joined Dr. Robertsons practice the same year. Prior to joining our practice full time, Sheri worked with a local periodontist. She and her husband Mike live on Adams Creek in Havelock. They have two sons, Ryan and Nick, and a young granddaughter, Ella. A native of Southern California, Sheri enjoys daily workouts at the gym and maintains a vegan diet.
She has been with our practice since 2013. Michelle is a native of Harkers Island and now lives in Otway with her husband Bryan. They have two sons, Benjamin and Aaron, and three grandchildren. She and her husband are members of Free Grace Wesleyan Church, where she serves as youth director.
She has been with our practice since 2002. A native of Morehead City and one of six sisters, Karen graduated from West Carteret High School in 1979. She and her husband Perri live in South River. They have two children, Christina and Perri, and a spirited young granddaughter, Alisha.
