This place is a joke. My family member called to make an appointment and had to pay a $200 fee up front. Once my family member found out that the dentist was out of network, she called to cancel and the front desk gal, who was annoyed when she made the appointment initially, answered again and told my family member not to call back and then hung up! How unprofessional and incredibly rude. If I could give zero stars I would. I don't see a bright future ahead of this establishment and urge potential clients to seek out another dentist.

Incredible!! Dr. Anderson and Sally always ready to go the extra mile to be helpful. Best dentist I have ever been to and @76 years old I've been to many. Thank you both so much.

Dr.Anderson was very comforting when I had to get a tooth pulled. Only reason for the 4 stars is lack of insurance coverage. Great for an emergency though.

When my dentist was unavailable, Dr. Anderson took me as an emergency patient which I am very grateful for as my tooth and gum were infected and extremely painful. He prescribed antibiotics before my tooth could be extracted. He explained everything to me step by step. Both he and his wife were so helpful and kind. I was nervous about the procedure, and they did all they could to help me relax even gave me a little knit "worry worm" to hang on to. Both the instructions for the care after the extraction before and after were spot on, and sent a copy home with me. They very thoughtfully called the next day to check on me. Very professional and kind. I was so pleased. Thank you so much!

I had a root canal gone wrong and Dr. Anderson & his wife were the only people I could find that would help me same. I had been searching for 3 days for help. He was able to pull my tooth quickly and effectively causing immediate relief. Thanks again!

I was billed a $25 cancellation fee when I made an appointment and called back within 15 minutes to cancel said appointment. My son had an abscessed tooth and I was able to get in someplace else quicker. So I called back and she said I was going to be charged a $25 fee. Ridiculous!

Atrocious! The receptionist is rude and awful. My son has had a cavity since Dec. We (my son and I) Scheduled an appt. to come in together in Feb for Apr (the earliest they had). I had to cancel my slot/part of the appt. but not my son's. I was not able to make mine, but my son could still make his. She decided to cancel the entire appt (after waiting two months mind you) and push his appt to Jun. When my wife asked why this was? She was rude (not the first time), not concerned with the patient's wellbeing and gave her no explanation as to why; other than "she had to". I strongly believe in professionalism and in all showing each other respect to one another, and not giving attitude and been rude when it is not warranted. I am definitely taking my family else where. Called DR. Robert Amstrong, DDS in Cheboygan, and they were more than happy to accommodate him within three days. We definitely miss the previous owners :(

ATTENTION MOTORCYCLE RIDERS: Dr Anderson is one of us! Had a filling fall out and the jagged edge of the tooth was constantly rubbing on my tongue causing considerable pain. Called my regular dentist - SORRY, CAN'T GET YOU IN UNTIL LATE JUNE. WHAT?!?!?!? Called and talked to a sympathetic Sally. She could've got me in yet the same day but my work prohibited that. However, was worked in the VERY next day. Got there at Noon - done by 1. I STILL don't like dentists - but overall, my trip to Dr Anderson was very nice! Fully recommend.

I admit....I had a fear of dentists. After many years of not going, I needed considerable work done. Dr. Anderson and Sally renewed my faith. They both are truly fantastic! Thank you two for taking such good care of me! Welcome to St.Ignace, I'm so glad that you're here.

If you need an appointment ASAP Doctor is good at getting someone in and does provide wonderful care. But his wife, the receptionist is absolutely HORRIBLE. I was a patient at one point but I couldn't handle her anymore so I called the office requesting my records and never received them. The most recent personal experience I had to get my husband into see a dentist sooner rather than later so I broke down and made him an appointment. During the process of scheduling the appointment and giving her the insurance information she told me that he was not covering under one of our policies. I then proceeded to tell her that I will reach out to my HR department. Turns out he was so we had the insurance company reach out to her personally. She wouldn't listen to them and did their best to help her and show her that he was covered. She then said she doesn't have have time and hung up on them. A few days later my husband went into the office and she told him that she didn't have time but would process the claim that week. After multiple phone calls I still have not heard back from the office and the claim still isn't processed. She litterly has no clue what she is doing and acts like customer service isn't important.

I'm usually not the one to complain but I just have to get something off my chest. Late Friday night, my mom had a dental emergency. She left a message Friday night, hoping they'll get back to her the next day. They did. She was so excited cause she thought she could get her tooth fixed or even just looked at on Saturday. The lady that called her at first was helpful BUT as soon as my mom told her she wasn't a regular patient with them the whole attitude changed. The lady said I'm sorry, we can't help you cause we've had issues with patients from other dentists in the pass. Have a nice day. "Click" I was shocked. My mom was stunned. I understand that she wasn't a regular patient but it obviously was something bad enough that couldn't wait until Monday, when her regular dentist will be open. (This is the only dentist in the area that's open on Saturday.) I guess the main thing that bugs me is that they could if handled it differently. They were kind of rude and they could of explained it better.

Had a dental emergency. Sally got me in within 2 hours. Excellent care. Thoroughly explained procedure. Follow-up with a phone call the next day. Very pleased.

From out of town, made an emergency appointment, squeezed me in, doc took a quick look, deemed me okay, sent me on my way, NO CHARGE. Great service, great receptionist, great doctor. What more can you ask for?
