Dr. David Eskow received a BS from the University of Maryland College Park in Environmental Science and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Dr. Eskow is proud to have served as a resident at Sinai Hospital where he became proficient at working in the emergency room. His responsibilities included treating recent immigrants who had received substandard care in their country of origin. The nonprofit initiative focused on establishing a high level of dental health.
Dr. Eskow began shadowing his father, Jerome V. Eskow, D.D.S. when he was thirteen. At that age he knew he wanted to join the 12 other dentists in his family. Over the years, through his formal education and years of being mentored by his father and uncles he acquired a passion for the profession of dentistry. He was able to combine his natural talents as a scientist and artist with his enjoyment of day to day interaction with families. His early experiences evolved into his vision for quality dental care with kindness and concern.
He holds dear to his heart the advice of his father, always treat each patient as if they were a family member. He learned many lessons from his father over his lifetime, one of which is, define your success by the care you give your patients, both with your heart and your hands. . .there is no greater marker of success
Dr. Eskows current practice reflects his early vision. Quality dental care delivered with kindness and concern is at the center of the practice. His specialties include cosmetic and restorative family dentistry. He loves working with people across the lifespan. He enjoys the child who is visiting the dental office for the first time as well as the ninety year old person who has been a patient for over 30 years. The office welcomes new patients and each individual becomes a valued member of the office family.
Olney, MD has been home for Dr. Eskow and his family since 1985. He and his wife Karen have three sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, hiking and pursuing various artistic projects.
Dr. Eskow works with an outstanding group of professionals committed to providing kind and responsive treatment. When building his practice, a priority has been to identify outstanding team members who share his values.
Dr. John Chillari is a friendly and caring general dentist who is honored to bring his skills to Olney, MD as a part of Dr. Eskows growing dental practice. Through his passion for dentistry, Dr. Chillari is proud to offer a gentle and patient-first approach to his treatment philosophy. He is prepared to offer patients of all ages well thought out and personalized treatment backed with clinical experience and scientifically sound decision making.
Dr. Chillari received his bachelors degree in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. Shortly after, he obtained a masters degree in biomedical science from Rutgers University Health Science Campus in Newark, NJ. Dr. Chillari earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA and went on to complete a general practice residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. During residency he was given the opportunity to manage extensive medical histories, dental related emergencies and traumas, and performed a variety of intricate dental procedures.
Dr. Chillari was born and raised in New Jersey where he developed a passion for the outdoors. He likes to spend his free time hiking and camping. He also remains very active as a runner and ice hockey player. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and is always up for a spirited debate with any fan of any team!
Wendys interest in science and desire to care for people led her into the dental field its a family trait as a number of family members also work in dentistry! She enjoys helping patients learn about how to maintain and improve their dental health, and getting to hear their stories and learn about their lives. Making people smile is important to Wendy, who grew up in Rockville. She lives in Columbia with her husband, PJ, and outside of work can be found on a volleyball court (playing or coaching!), on the golf course, or on her motorcycle.

I highly recommend Dr. David Eskow and his staff. My kids have been going to him since they got teeth (they are now in their 20's) and I have been going to him for about 24 years as well. He is kind, gentle, funny, and very professional. He has done emergency cosmetic repair (when my son broke his two front adult teeth in half) on a Friday when he's usually closed, and he saved the teeth! At my request, he carefully preserved my nearly hollow molar for 10 years before needing a crown... His staff is professional, gentle and nice. I know they'll take good care of you.

As always, my experience at Dr. Eskow's practice was excellent. The office staff was friendly as usual and my wait time was only a couple minutes. Cindy, my hygienist was thorough and efficient and gave helpful, positive feedback on how to continue good dental care. Dr. Chillari was friendly and gave me a clean bill of health.

Going to Dr. Eskow's office is always a pleasant experience with very helpful and nice office staff and hygienists. During this time of Covid-19, I had no concerns with all of the safety protocols that they have implemented throughout their office.

I've been going to Dr. Eskow since the 1980's and I couldn't find a more caring and capable dentist. His staff follows his example with kindness and effort. His hygienist Christa does a very comfortable cleaning and offers suggestions on how to improve my dental hygiene.

Our family has been coming here for over a decade and we wouldn't go anywhere else! Dr. Eskow and Dr. Chillari are kind, gentle, respectful, and more importantly, excellent dentists. You can tell that they love what they do and take pride in their work and their reputation. The hygienists and office staff treat us like family. I always refer my friends to them.

They always treat me like family here and they always take the time to explain things. They're very proactive, so that small problems don't get bad, but they're also never pushy. Took my small kid here for his first time and he walked away saying "I like the dentist" which is definitely not what I was saying at that age!

I travel about an hour each way and have for nearly ten years now. The staff are all fantastic and have always been so accommodating. Appreciative of this office and will continue to go out of my way because I can't fathom a better dental practice.

I have had a hate/hate relationship with the dentist until I was referred to Dr. Eskow by my dear friend Kate. Every word she spoke in her recommendation was true. Great customer service, excellent care, treated as family, and above all everyone is highly respectful. While in school, I was always asked how was school going? That they would even remember that personal aspect of my life meant a lot. Andy made sure that all appointments were worked around my school or work schedule. I highly recommend this practice for excellent dental care.

Krista was an excellent hygienist. Dr. Eskow was quite busy yet took time to answer 2 concerns regarding some questions I asked. I have been a patient here for over 20 years and will continue to stay with this practice.
