Credential: Dr. Momtaheni has been one of the pioneers of Orthognathic Surgery in the United States. He and his colleques have developed a concept of 'Mini Residency Program' over 30 years ago to teach other surgeons the techniques and knowledge to perform these procedures. In 1985 and 1986 Dr, Momtaheni lectured on ' A Safe and Predicable Technique for Multi-Piece Maxillary Osteotomies' for the National Annual Meeting of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, he has been teaching Reidents at Columbia Presbyterian and Beth Israel Medical Centers for the past 29 years.
