Dr. David White has provided complete family and cosmetic dentistry to Northern Nevada since 2004. He earned his undergraduate degree locally at the University of Nevada Reno. During matriculation at UNR, Dr. White participated in many extracurricular activities and was elected to the Associated Students of University of Nevada. In addition, he earned numerous academic scholarships and was awarded Senior of the Year in 1999. He attended the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he was indoctrinated in their spirit and mission of developing leaders and citizens who will challenge the present and enrich the future. Dr. White is also dedicated to serving the local community. He has served as the advisor for the University of Nevada Predental Society since 2004. During which time the program has earned a national reputation for excellence and has matriculated over 700 students into dental school. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno and University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He currently sit on the advisor committees for the University of Nevada, Reno College of Science and the University of Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He is currently the Vice Chair for the American Dental Association Council on Government Affairs. Dr. Whites philanthropy work continues to grow, and he is persistently searching for new ways to improve his community and state.
Dr. White has won numerous awards while practicing and serving his community. In 2008, he was awarded the 20 under 40 Award for work performed as a young professional. In 2010, Dr. White was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award from the University of Nevada, Reno. Each year between 2011-2013, Dr. White has been awarded prominent Golden Apple awards from the American Dental Association for work in leadership, mentoring and legislative activities.
During your first visit, our objective is to get to know you better, to become familiar with your past dental experiences and to establish a treatment plan that will best meet your current desires. When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms.
Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. Dr. White will perform a thorough exam, and in most cases, we will also clean your teeth. Generally, X-rays will also be taken, allowing Dr. White to examine your mouth for teeth decay, periodontal problems, jaw problems and any signs of oral cancer. These diagnostic records will help your doctor provide an evaluation outlining any existing dental problems and proposed treatment. We encourage you to ask questions, and well be glad to discuss any concerns you may have.
We believe that good dental care begins with open communication. We promise to speak candidly with you about our diagnosis and recommendations, any alternative treatments, and any symptoms present that may require treatment from a specialist. Working together, we can achieve a true partnership, with one common goal keeping your smile beautiful and your teeth, gums and jaw joints healthy!

I was having problems with my teeth.and was having a tough time getting someone to look at me .found there add on FB they fit me in and made a plan for dental work needed . Also they accommodated my work schedule. Are very friendly and I will be a return customer.

It's been about 8 months since I first stepped into doctor David M. White's dental office,..... just out of curiosity. Staff and the dentist were very friendly. We thought we were having a new patient exam AND cleanings done However we were told they don't do those during the same appointment and we would have to schedule a 2nd appointment for the cleaning....very frustrating and inconvenient. Debating on whether to continue as a patient or find another dentist.

It felt so good to see everyone today. I always hated going to the dentist, but Dr. White and his staff are so friendly and fun to be around that it actually is a pleasure to go. I just had a cleaning . And the staff is always ready to deal with my gag reflex. I love my dentist and his staff.

i hate dentists lol i was hurt by one years ago but having said that i found dr. white and his staff to be amazing. they understood my fear and did everything they could to ease my tension i highly recommend them. Thank You all.

it is the worst place you can go i went in for a crown the palce its so inadequate they dont even have a spot for you to spit when they are working on you so you have to wait until they come and get the vacuum and get it for you and the dentist it seems like he doesnt have any experience when hes working on yor teeth but after he put the temporary they said a month for the other one to get here and i waited a month and when it came in they had the wrong color so i had to wait 2 more weeks and when finally got here they were booked and they said i had to wait 2 more weeks to get schedule but i told her that it was been too long they didnt care she didnt try to work it out and she lied saying ill chat to the doctor and ill talk to you shortly she never messaged me back still waiting so they dont care about their patients worst experience

Update: I still love this dentist office after being with them for about a year. Communication, scheduling, billing everything is great! I went in for my first cleaning. It was awesome I felt everything was explained. My hygienist wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I haven't been to a dentist in a very long time and they completely took care of all my fears and concerns. Actually looking forward to going back.
