We strive to help our patients retain theirnatural teeth for a lifetime. Our team places a high priority on attending to each of our patient's comfort, emergency needs, and follow-up care. An extensivemedical history, dental history, and pre-treatment diagnostic protocol is standard to insure that each of our patients receive the most appropriate and thorough treatment. We also perform thorough follow-up and recall examinations when necessary.
We believe that our office plays an essential and integral part in each of our patient's dental health. We can only accomplish this by being part of a teamled by the general dentists and supported by specialists when called upon. Our office works closely with the referring dentist's team to provide our patients with the best care possible. We appreciate the confidence that your dentist has shown in us by referring you to our office for your endodontic treatment. Upon completion of treatment in our practice, we will send the appropriate reports and records back to your dentist for your continued care.
Dr. Reeves spent most of his formative years in Northern California. He attended Pacific Union College for his undergraduate work and received his dental degree in 1985 from Loma Linda University. After receiving his D.D.S., he practiced dentistry for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for three years serving a small community in northern Vermont. Moving back to California in 1988, Dr. Reeves practiced general dentistry in South Lake Tahoe. In 1997 he continued his dental education at Boston University, where he completed a two-year residency in endodontics. Dr. Reeves returned to Reno in 1999 joining Dr. Iwasiuk to practice endodontics.
Dr. Iwasiuk is originally from southern California. He earned his dental degree in 1985 from Loma Linda University. After receiving his D.D.S, he moved to South Lake Tahoe where he practiced general dentistry until 1995. In 1997 he completed his endodontic residency at Boston University and returned to Reno, Nevada, where he was joined in 1999 by Dr. Reeves.
Dr. Lena Kuang was raised in Cupertino, California and graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Biology. She attended dental school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore where she received her D.D.S. She then completed a general practice residency at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. During her time in private practice as a general dentist, she developed a passion for endodontics. She went on to complete a two-year advanced education program in endodontics at NYU Langone Hospitals in Brooklyn, NY. She is a board-eligible endodontist.Dr. Kuang loves hiking and skiing and is excited to be living in Reno.

I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Reeves. He is a wonderful endodonist. There was absolutely no pain, and Dr. explained everything he was doing as he performed the procedure.

Y'all are outstanding from the time you walk into the door to the time you leave. This was my first root canal and I was a little nervous but Jordan and Dr. Kuang did an amazing job on making me feel comfortable throughout the process. Everybody is just so welcoming and friendly!!

One of the BEST endodontists I've ever been to! Reeves and his team are incredibly caring, understanding, patient, and informative. Every time I had a concern regarding my apicoectomy, they would bring me into the office to check on everything and answer all my questions. I truly LOVE this office!

Dr. Reeves went way above and beyond for my procedure, which took multiple appointments. He went over the usual time to make sure I got the results I wanted. I had to keep myself from going to sleep during my 2nd appointment because I was so comfortable. Had I been with any other doctor, I would not have gotten the results I desperately wanted. Every person that works in the office is truly the sweetest person. Also when it comes time to pay there are definitely options and they work with your insurance. You are getting the absolute most high tech, top of the line care with Dr. Reeves & staff. Thank you again.

Never having had a root canal I was nervous with the stories I had heard. No more! I have now had two root canals within six months and cannot believe there was no pain at all during the procedures. And the pain I had been suffering for over a year has now subsided. The entire staff is amazing! Every member is kind, helpful and professional. Do not hesitate to have work done at this office.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this office. The entire team is so accommodating and kind. I was certainly not the easiest patient and my procedure was involved bit I felt cared for EVERY STEP of the way. I received several follow up calls to see how I was doing in the days following. Update: Dr. Reeves called and spoke with my daughter to offer an apology, which I appreciate. My daughter was referred to Dr. Reeves for a rootcanal. Her dentist indicated on the referral that she had extreme dental anxiety, I told the doctor about it in our consultation as well as calling the office the day before her treatment to discuss her anxiety. Today, when Dr. Reeves came into start the procedure, my daughter began to cry. This man literally threw his hands in the air and said "I don't do crying. At this point in my career I don't need to do this" and WALKED OUT!! He left my daughter feeling like she had done something wrong and responded in the most insensitive, unprofessional manner. I have never seen an adult, let alone a professional behave like this. He may be skilled at his craft but he is not a patient, kind or compassionate man. If he can't cope with a fearful child then perhaps he should not treat children. I've contact the State Board of Dental Examiners as well as the referring dentist regarding this situation. Unbelievable and shameful for a grown man to throw a tantrum like this!! Edit to add: office staff was very apologetic and kind and I appreciate Cheryl's concerns and compassion. Perhaps Dr. Reeves can take a lesson in humility from her.

My daughter was in a serious accident this summer. Her teeth and mouth were badly damaged. Dr. Reeves stepped in and saved her teeth. He was meticulous and kind. Hands down the best of the best! I can not say enough good things about Dr. Reeves and his amazing staff!

My treatment required 2 visits due to the amount of infection. Because of the amount of pain I was having between the two visits the office moved up the second appointment, after which I had little pain. I appreciate the ability to move up the second appointment. Dr. Iwasiuk seemed knowledgeable, thorough, and technically adept. I could have used a little more explanation after the first visit. Everyone in the office was very friendly. I am very happy with the result.

The Reeves Iwasiuk Dental is the only Dental office I have NO trepidation or anxiety to go to for a procedure. From reception, intake through procedure, and exit, you are treated in a very kind manner with your personal feelings always in consideration. I have had three different root canals done over the years at the Reeves-Iwasiuk dental practice, all with so little discomfort and inconvenience it's hard to believe. At no time during any of my three procedures did I incur pain which is a very common experience in all other dental offices I've been in.

Root canal is not my favorite sport... However this was one of the most professional dental services I have ever received. From making me comfortable to explanations as things moved along.
