We believe in the theories of Modern Dental Care which do not support the old premise of 'When it hurts 'fix it'. Through proper preventive care and regular checkups, we believe that it is highly likely that most of our patients can expect to keep all of their teeth for all of their lives.
We feel that the best investment anyone can make is to prevent the pain and discomfort associated with advancing oral disease, and to save the costly expenses often connected with the reconstruction of the damages that do occur through neglect. In order for our newly formed relationship to be mutually satisfying and beneficial, we ask that at any time you have a question or are unhappy about any treatment (proposed or performed), fee for service, or attitude of our 'Dental Team', please discuss it with us promptly and openly. Misunderstandings and/or lack of communication are the only obstacles to our continued friendship and professional relationship.
Carolyn Biggs: I have been a Hygienist for almost forty years, thirteen of those years with Dr. Lovit. I attended Lakeland College in Ohio. I have four wonderful children who are my heart. I enjoy yard work, housework, and playing my upright bass. I love my patients!!
Hi, my name is Jill Sellers and I have been in the dental field for sixteen years. I have been part of Dr. Lovits front office staff for twelve years. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two daughters. I have a passion for photography, I love music, spending time with my family and friends, the sunshine, and being at the beach.
Hello , Im Shannan Moore. I am Dr. Lovits part time hygienist with 24 years of experience. I have been with Dr Lovit for 3 years now. I am a mom to 3 great young adult children, Brittany 26, Kyle 21 and Lee 16. I love my career and my family time. My hobbies include following my favorite college and professional football teams, hockey teams and wrestling teams as well as cruising around on my Harley. I am an avid Carolina fan but if my son gets his wish to play football at Clemson I may just breakdown and become a Tiger fan. But for now- Go Gamecocks!!
Hi, my name is Chasity Bailey and I just moved here from Jacksonville Florida. I'm originally from Rock Hill SC. I've been in the dental field for 15 years. Working with people and helping others has always been my passion. I love spending time with my husband , son, and daughter. We are huge USC fans. Going to the beach and lake are just some of the things we enjoy.
Hi, my name is Dawn Morse and I have been living in Columbia and working for Dr. Lovit for four years. I have been a Hygienist for fourteen years. I am a proud daughter a wife of retired Marines. I am Texas born but have moved every three years since then. We now call Columbia home since my husbands retirement from the Marine Corps. I enjoy spending time with friends, riding our motorcycle to the mountains, and hunting (though I pretty much just hang out for the hunting part. I have never shot anything!) I have two daughters. My oldest has a beautiful baby boy and lives locally. My youngest will be attending Clemson in the fall. Sorry all you USC fans, but GO TIGERS!!
Dr. David M. Lovit received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston., Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Lovit has been in practice in Columbia, S.C. for over 20 years.
Dr. Lovit received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2000. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, The Academy of Operative Dentistry, The Greater Columbia Dental Association, and The Academy of Osseointegration.
