In the 30+ years I have been practicing here, Ive had the opportunity to care for multiple generations of the same family. It is heartwarming to see mothers who were child patients themselves bring in their own kids, and knowing that my team and I will make the experience positive and special, starting the person on the right path to excellent, long-term oral health.
I attended Lamar University for my Bachelor of Science, and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. It is my lifes pursuit to continue my education and expand my knowledge in the dental field. Technology is constantly evolving to better meet the needs of patients and practitioners, and there are corresponding developments in techniques and processes as well. Continuing education gives me the opportunity to have the highest level of knowledge and to expand my skills continually to stay current with the field, in order to provide my patients with the best care available.
More than three decades of dental devotion have created results that improve patients lives. It has been fascinating to be part of the history to see dentistry changes in the last ten years, and be able to bring them to the practice and allow patients to benefit from new technologies.
I am a native of Houston, TX, and have called Beaumont my home since 1981. My wife and I have one son, of whom we are very proud. My leisure time is family-focused, but I also enjoy swimming and studying.
Community involvement is important to me, and I am involved in programs such as Boys Haven of America, Foster Care Awareness Month, Kid Fest, Fall Fest, Muscular Dystrophy Lock-Up, Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau. I also sponsor local high school basketball teams and local middle school volleyball.

I had 4 children seen and taken care of at the same time. The staff was excellent, patient and respectful to my children. They were efficient and professional. Two children needed extensive work done and during that visit just days later they were in and out with no problem. Dr. Caldwell was amazing with them and made them comfortable and took extra time to explain every step he was taking. I would recommend them for any dental needs you might have.

Doctor Caldwell's office and his staff are fantastic. They have made accommodations my children on numerous occasions they're always friendly, professional, and overall wonderful. Couldn't ask for a better dentist thanks Dr. Caldwell!

The dentist is great, the hygienists are great... but the 2 stars is because of how awful the front desk staff are. They are awful with referrals, don't give your contact info to the places they refer you to and leave you waiting for 6 months for a call from whoever they refer you to. They do not communicate clearly and effectively.

I've taken my kids to several different dental offices in the area and this has been the best experience hands down. Everyone is so kind and the office is a welcoming kid friendly atmosphere. We finally found us a permanent dentist for our needs, thank y'all!
