Dr. Fain grew up in Toronto, Ontario, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He then escaped the cold weather in Toronto and received additional training at Nova Southeastern University in North Miami Beach, where he completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.

Committed to learning new techniques and technologies, Dr. Fain completes continuing education courses on a regular basis. His training in restorative, cosmetic, sedation, and implant dentistry increases the range of dental concerns that Dr. Fain can address, helping patients achieve optimal oral health. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Sylvan Fain wants you to enjoy your dental visits rather than feel apprehensive. As a child, he had terribly crooked teeth and spent five years in braces, so he can relate to his patients' concerns! Dr. Fain develops trusting working relationships through extensive communication and understanding. He is sensitive to the fact that each of our patients has unique concerns, and he takes the time to get to know patients on a personal level to provide customized care.

Dr. Skaff attended Florida State University graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1984. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from West Virginia School of Dentistry in 1989.

After completing dental school, Dr. Skaff joined his father Orlando Skaff, DDS and his brother in a large group practice in North Miami. Dr. Skaff learned a lot from working with his father until he passed away in 1998, the most important being that we treat patients and not teeth. His father used to say Ive never seen a tooth walk into my office, but a person did!

Dr. Matthew J. Fien received his bachelors degree from the University of Florida and his doctorate from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed post-graduate training in the specialty of periodontology at Nova Southeastern University and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Fien has completed a number of research projects that have led to his work being published in various peer-reviewed dental journals, including the Journal of Periodontology, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Fien is actively engaged in several clinical research studies in the fields of periodontics, implant dentistry, and tissue regeneration. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. David Skaff is married to Katyna who was a registered dental hygienist at his fathers office. They have been married for 25 years and have two children David Louis II and Emma. They live in Cooper City and enjoy skiing in the winter and watching football, especially the Miami Dolphins and FSU Seminoles.
