Dr. Donnell was born and raised in Bowling Green, Ohio. He discovered his passion for dentistry while attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Science.
Moving on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, he graduated with honors and received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He returned to his home town of Bowling Green where he has practiced since.
Dr. Donnell continued his studies at the internationally renown Misch Implant Institute where he received extensive training in all phases of implant dentistry. He was awarded fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and associate fellowships in the American College of Oral Implantology and the American Society of Osseointegration. While implant dentistry is his passion, cosmetic and general dentistry remain the mainstays of his practice.
Dr. David Donnell lives in Bowling Green with his wife Amy. They are proud parents of five children who reside all across the country. When not working or visiting the kids, he enjoys golf, fly fishing, and woodworking.

This place is amazing they helped me with explaining the amount I was going to pay and the people are super nice I would strongly recommend this dentist to anyone 10/10

The best experience I've ever had going to the dentist! Doctor Donnell and his staff were incredibly polite and kind, and I was very satisfied with the outcome. I will be coming back to him for any future work!

I was looking for a new dentist after my move from Michigan. We were driving through Bowling Green and I noticed his building. The sign said Gentle Dentist. That was a plus for me. We stopped in and the staff was very friendly. They took the time to answer all our questions. They don't have payment plans but you can pay by major credit card. I don't have dental insurance but they are kind enough to give me an estimate each time I go in. I been four times now. My teeth are once again beautiful. Staff is always very kind due to my fear of dentists. I love that they have TV on the ceiling. You can watch and try to forget your there. I can now smile again thanks to Dr. Donnell and staff. I was really nervous to find a dentist when I moved to BG for college because I had been going to the same dentist my whole life in my hometown. I even tried to make my dental appointments around my school schedule so I wouldn't have to find a new dentist. But when a friend mentioned Dr. Donnell, I decided to give it a shot. They really make you feel comfortable and remember details you told them at your last appointment. The TVs on the ceiling are also a big hit! The staff is always so friendly and kind, and the dental work is very gentle!

I have been a patient in this office for many years. Dave and his staff are friendly, personable, and kind. Seeing the dentist can be an overwhelming experience for many, however, here I feel they have gotten to know me and they spend just the right amount of time with me. Thanks so much for always answering my questions and seeing me when needed.

Dr. Donnell wanted to fill cavities in my wife's teeth that she didn't even have.Unscrupulous dentist.Not to be trusted.Treated my wife badly.A filling he put in is going bad,and has to be redone.WATCHOUT!

I'm not sure why Dr. Donnell has such a low rating on Google. I personally had a great experience with Dr. Donnell. I went to him on the recommendation of a friend to have 2 teeth extracted. I have had one done so far, and the procedure went smoothly. I didn't feel a thing, and the procedure was done much quicker than expected. Recovery was quick, and so far (knock on wood) no complications. I'm looking forward to seeing him again, and after the next tooth is done, I will definitely be back if I need more work done in the future!
