Dr. Katz studied mechanical engineering at Tufts University, then did graduate work at Columbia University. After working as an engineer at Raytheon and Polaroid, he returned to Tufts Dental School. Dentistry fulfills his love of hands on activity while combining art and science. Dr. Katz continues his education with regular attendance at the Yankee Dental Association Conference and several other prominent dental organizations. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Seacoast Esthetic Dentistry Association. In his free time, Dr. Katz enjoys boating, skiing, traveling, cars, scuba diving, and photography.
Linda has been a long time employee of the office. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Pyschology and from Middlesex Community College with an Associate in Dental Hygiene(RDH).
Dawn has been with our office since 1993. After graduating from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Dawn worked in a medical/surgical office for five years. She began her dental career focusing on the clerical and financial management of our practice and has never looked back.
Dawn joined our office in 2015 after several years as a Dental Assistant. Prior to working in the dental field, she earned her degree as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and worked as a Coordinator of a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.

I have been going to Dr Katz since I was a child, for over 25 years. I moved to Maine in 2016, and still make the 3+ hour drive twice a year to get my cleanings. They are super accommodating with scheduling and follow up questions or concerns. It sounds cheesy, but they feel like family, or close friends. I actually look forward to when I get to go back. Highly recommend.

I've been a patient of David's for more than 30 years. I have nothing but superlatives to say about him and his entire office staff. They are truly like family. David's work and professionalism are second to none. If going to the dentist can be a "fun" experience, this is the place! I would highly recommend Dr. Katz & Co to anybody looking for family dentist. You will glad you did!

Our family have been patients of Dr. Katz for over 30 years. He has provided us with knowledge and skill that has served us well. He has always been responsive and in a particular emergency we had, he went beyond the call of duty. Our son was seriously injured when he was hit in the mouth with a baseball. Even though Dr. Katz was out of town, he coordinated with the dental surgeons. His swift and decisive actions saved 8 teeth that were seriously damaged. The end result was amazing. Even though braces had to go back on for a short time, and he only needed one root canal as opposed to 8, we attribute this to Dr. Katz's professionalism and compassion.

Dr. Katz is the BEST! He has been my dentist for almost 20 years---he and his entire staff somehow manage to make a trip to the dentist fun. They are extremely personable, knowledgeable,and caring. Dr. Katz has fit me in a number of times when I've had dental emergencies and he works very hard to offer excellent dental care to all patients---always with a sense of humor, and a smile on his face. He's a great guy and a fantastic dentist! I highly recommend Dr. Katz :)

Everyone is very nice and friendly from Dawn at the front desk to my hygienist Linda, to Dr. Katz himself. I don't feel like I'me being oversold on services I don't need and I get a great cleaning every time.

I broke my front tooth at 3am and they got me into the office early in the morning to fix it and I was a new patient. Everyone was extremely friendly and I had a great experience there. I will be using Dr. Katz from now on and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist. Thank you so much!

I was in Boston for a seminar and had severe tooth pain. I was referred by a local to Dr. Katz, and was seen the same day. What a relief being seen promptly and given the care needed to ease my discomfort. Highly recommended!
