Dr. Jo is a graduate of Loma Linda University and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He is an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics for the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and has been providing clinical supervision at the graduate orthodontic clinic for over 20 years. He has been recognized for his service to the people of Korea by the American Dental Association, and has served the underprivileged through local and international dental mission trips. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, gardening, barbecuing and spending time with his wife of 40+ years and their three adult children. He also volunteers countless hours in leadership and service to his local church.
Dr. Jo is recognized as THE premier orthodontist to address the myriad of issues involved in more complex cases, such as surgical, cranio-facial anomaly, or cleft palate cases. He currently serves as a consultant orthodontist for the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Craniofacial Team, the Loma Linda University Childrens Hospital Craniofacial Team, and the University of California at Riverside Craniofacial Team and receives referrals from these multidisciplinary specialty teams. He also treats children with special needs. Patients often travel from all over Southern California to be treated by an orthodontist of his caliber.

I've been fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Jo and his incredible team since my early teen years. My smile before I had braces with them was something I was so so ashamed of, from the first month I got my braces on my teeth shifted & my smile & confidence changed! Every visit from 2014 and onward was nothing short of wonderful. Dr. Jo's entire team is kind, personable, and they leave a mark even after so many years. Not to mention, Dr. Jo always catered to making those who had intellectual differences from us still have a smile that was one to be proud to wear. I cannot recommend his work, his team, and his office enough. Even after almost a decade, they remembered me and my family and they make you feel like family. So blessed to have been a patient of theirs, I urge you to become one too. You will not regret it.

Beyond delighted with my smile thanks to Dr. Joe and staff. Everyone is incredibly nice and the atmosphere overall is just amazing. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for orthodontic treatment !

Such an amazing experience. From start to finish, the process was both smooth and easy. The staff are extremely kind, courteous, and they each have their own unique personality. The atmosphere at the office is also very welcoming and uplifting. Overall, it is a great office that excels in many aspects including customer service.

Dr Jo and his staff are the best!!!! During Covid he was so professional and welcoming! A few years ago, I got my own braces finished with Dr Jo when my former orthodontist stopped working and it was the a painless and easiest transfer ever!!!! 4 years later when my daughter needed braces, no questions asked, Dr Jo was the man!!! His staff are(is?) amazing!!!! When covid hit, things were smooth with their professionalism!! Thank you Dr Jo! When my 7 year old will need orthodontics, we will be with Dr Jo!!!
