Dr. David DApolito received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) with Honors from UMDNJ/New Jersey Dental School, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Prior to this, he was a Registered Pharmacist, having also graduated with Honors from Northeastern University, College of Pharmacy. He received a Certificate in Hospital Pharmacy from the National Institutes of Health where he also was an officer in the US Public Health Service serving as a Clinical Pharmacist at our Nations top research hospital. He was elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society.
Additionally, Dr. Dave has a Postgraduate Certificate in the Diagnosis and Management of Orofacial Pain and TMJ Dysfunction from UMDNJ and has received such awards as the American College of Stomatologic Surgeons Award and the Italian Dental Society of New York Scholarship Award. He has advanced training and special interest in Reconstructive Dentistry and has a trademark for Tooth or Consequences, the dental informative newsletter he publishes.
In his spare time Dr. DApolito enjoys sporting events such as football, soccer, basketball, baseball and hockey. His favorite professional teams are the Buffalo Bills, NY Red Bulls, NY Knicks, NY Yankees and NY Rangers. His favorite college basketball and football teams are the Syracuse Orange. He also loves swimming and snorkeling in the Caribbean Islands and participates in multiple fantasy sports leagues. He has a Black Belt in Taekwando and has also trained in other martial arts such as Hapkido and Shotokon. He currently works out regularly and walks anywhere from 20 to 45 miles per week as part of his exercise program.
Dr. DApolito has been a lifelong resident of the Woodbridge area. The office is about one mile each way from where he grew up in Port Reading to where he graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School. He has been committed to this area his whole life and he has been in practice over 34 years. He treats his patients not just as patients, but on an individual, personal level that all can relate to.
His favorite and most exciting professional experience was a TV news special filmed at his office with Art McFarland of ABCs Eyewitness News. Eyewitness Newss Roz Abrams said during the TV commentary: The dentist of your dreams, Youve got to see it to believe it, How going to the dentist can bring you to another world.
Is our Receptionist/Financial Coordinator and has been with us since 2005. Melissa is married and has a wonderful daughter. She loves to spend time with her family, exercising, listening to music and planning parties.

Dentists are not typically on the top of my mind, but I know I need to have frequent visits to one. I am certain many share the same dilemma. I kept changing dentists and wanted to have one that would treat me well as a patient and truly cared for my dental health. Those types of dentists are like unicorns. Well, I found my unicorn in Dr. D'Apolito. He has great care for his patients and every time I visit, I see the other patients are happy with their procedures and have not heard one complaint. I wish I had found him sooner. I have brought all of my family members to see him as well. Can't say enough how he and his staff are very nice and make each one of my visits pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. D'Apolito for anyone who have missed a few months/years of seeing a dentist or who have a phobia of dentists.

Doctor and his whole staff treat every patient with the highest care and empathy. I have personally worked as a dental assistant at the clinic.The doctor takes a great care including following the highest quality of sterilization processes to provide the best treatment ! Everyone in the office are so cheerful and welcoming to all the patients. I personally would like to recommend any person needing dental services.

Dr. D'Apolito and his staff are great. I arrived here with many dental issues after the pandemic. I was able to work out a payment plan and get my work done with minimal pain! The office is impeccably clean and everyone follows Covid safety guidelines. If you are looking for a knowledge and skilled Dentist who has a professional staff, come to Woodbridge!

I had a dental emergency with a broken front tooth and Dr. D' Apolito told me to come over immediately.He spent over an hour taking care of my damaged tooth and I was able to leave with a temporary restoration that looked as good as a permanent crown.No pain or any discomfort.

I've been having TMJ. Issues, for sometime now, I googled TMJ doctors, I came across Dr. D'Apolito. I read the reviews and decided to give him a try. Well I must say the staff is amazing very friendly and helpful . Dr. D"Apolito is amazing he explained what was going on, why I was experiencing the headaches and jaw pain . He got right to work with creating a mouth guard for me to sleep at night, he also recommended physical therapy which is also helping with the headaches. I'm so happy I found such a great doctor with amazing bedside manner.

I was experiencing horrible tooth pain and was terrified to go to a dentist due to past experiences with my previous dentist. This office is fantastic! Everyone there was very friendly, listened to my concerns, and took me seriously. Dr. D'Apolito is so nice and very gentle, and because of him and his staff I'm not afraid to go to the dentist now. I felt absolutely nothing during the procedure and I can't recommend this office enough!

The doctor and office staff are amazing! So friendly and helpful I would recommend them to everyone. Even if the dentist is not your favorite place Dr. D'Apolito will change your outlook on dentists and you'll be coming back every 6 months. I can't say enough good things about the office and can't wait to come back for my cleaning in 6 months!
