I'm so glad he is my dentist! I've been a patient for a long time. He is very caring and attentive to sense when a procedure is causing pain. He made sure my crowns fit and even sent one back to the lab for better fit! Both the Dr and his staff are very efficient.

Doctor Thorup (I want to call him Dr Dave but have never done so) and his staff Janell, Brook and Becky are simply the best. I worry about my dentist visits about as much as I worry about going to a barber. Dr Thorup recently created a new smile for me. I didn't think the old smile was that bad but I knew that after near 80 years, it wasn't great. My wife encouraged me to accept Dr Thorup's suggestion for 12 new caps. He replaced 6 top and 6 bottom teeth in the center of my mouth. I have long been aware of his technical skill and his care for his patients. However this recent work took my opinion of his skill and caring to a new level. This was by far the most dental work I have ever had. I quite simply could not be happier with the work he and his staff provided. Discomfort was very minimal and his attention to detail was extraordinary. My wife, my daughters, my friends and I all agree that my new smile looks wonderful. (Unfortunately I was told there wasn't much he could do about the rest of my face and body.) I am also pleasantly surprised at how my mouth simply feels and functions much better. It's kind of like when you don't realize how bad your car looks until after you realy wash and detail it and it looks like a new car and even seems to run better. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Thorup and his staff as a best choice for anyone needing dental work and considering what dentist to go to.

Dr. Thorup is a caring and skilled dentist, highly recommend. I can't comment on this clinic as I see him at the Sugarhouse clinic.

I've been going to Dr. Thorup for more than 15 years and have been continually impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of his entire staff. I had composite veneers that were only supposed to last 4-8 years, and they were in great condition 15 years later. He recently made me porcelain veneers, and they look great! I highly recommend him.

Dr Thorup has been my dentist for years and has always been the best dentist ever. I was not happy with my smile and after my consultation with him decided to go with the porcelain veneers. I couldn't be more pleased. The staff at his office are always so nice, and I feel like I'm going to visit friends. I am so happy with my smile I will post this without makeup, and highly recommend Dr Thorup and his highly professional staff.

Dr. Thorup is an excellent dentist. His staff are all wonderful! Years ago when our daughter had a basketball accident after hours that broke her front teeth, Dr. Thorup came into the office and saved her teeth! We have been regular patients for many years. We highly recommend Dr. Thorup and his practice.

David is the best! Been going to him for decades, except when I lived out of state. My dentist in Oregon kept commenting and admiring how good the work David did was. My Kids, take their kids, to him too now, and they live on the other side of the valley and have a good friend who is a dentist. Went to him once and came back to Dr. Thorup. Their friend even commented on how good Davids work is.

I've been going to Dr. Thorup for over 20 years. The environment is immediately inviting and calming. The contests and drawings add such a fun and friendly feel to the office as well. Dr. Thorup is an extremely skilled and talented dentist, and your comfort is his #1 priority. I had a toothache and felt it needed to be looked at ASAP. I called the office after-hours and was able to get in contact with the doctor within minutes. I was able to be squeezed into the schedule for the following day. The staff were very sympathetic, friendly, and organized. They knew my symptoms and were talking to me about them before I even got into the chair. Dr. Thorup made sure I left his office pain free, and with no questions. 5/5

Dr. Thorup has been my dentist for many years, and he and his staff are very friendly, thorough and gentle. They explain how medications and health issues can affect your teeth, and also explain if a necessary procedure is being done. I have trusted him with my oral health and highly recommend him and his staff to anyone .

My family and I have been given great dental care at Dr Thorup's office for many years. You can tell he loves his job and always wants to make sure your "Smile" and mouth are in great shape before you leave. The staff is also excellent as well.
