David grew up in Dorchester County, but left home to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduating he went on to obtian a Doctorate of Dental Surgery form University of Maryland school of Dental Surgery. Once his residency at Wilmington Medical Center was completed, he returned to the shore and joined a dental practice in Berlin, MD. All his hard work paid off when he was able to open his own dental practice right on Main Street in Berlin, MD. Eventually he relocated his practice to The Pavilions on Racetrack Rd outside of Ocean Pines, were he continues to serve to community with his 30+ years of experience. Dr. Schiff enjoys General Dentistry and treats patients of all ages by helping them maintain their oral health.

I've had alot of negative experiences with dentists in the past which has led to not going back to a dentist for almost 10 years. This has been the best dental decision I have made. Dr. David and his staff are gentle, compassionate and understanding. I needed an extraction and was VERY NERVOUS, the procedure was painless. He is amazing at what he does. Thank you Dr. David and staff for making me feel so incredibly comfortable that I made another appointment to continue moving forward in my dental health.

Whether a scheduled appointment or an emergency one, Dr. Schiff and staff are always ready for you. Friendly, clean and professional. But mostly, he caters to my anxiety and keeps me calm and pain free.

Dr. Schiff and his team and amazing. They make me feel right at home everytime I walk through the door. They make me laugh throughout the whole process, weather it be getting a tooth pulled or just a simple visit. I would recommend this practice over and over again. They truly care about you as a person & want to make sure you are happy 100% of the way. I am so blessed that I was recommended here when I was.

I have been going to Dr. Schiff since he began his practice. I took my kids there when they were young, they are now in their 40's. Dr. Schiff is personable and funny, and kindly handles any anxiety I may have. Dayna and Amanda are just as professional, and they are friendly from the moment I arrive. The office is clean and cozy, and I would not go anywhere else.

To say Dr Schaffer's and staff are incredibly good at what they do is an understatement. They are amazing. From the moment you enter the practice you are treated with warmth and kindness as if you've known them for years. The quality of the work performed has been outstanding. I had terrible experiences at prior dentist which caused me to steer away from going to a dentist- I took a shot with Dr. Schiff and I am so glad I did. Dr. Schiff and his wife made me feel SO comfortable and not embarrassed for how bad my teeth were. They took such good care of me and made me excited to come to the dentist!! Definitely recommend going to them!

Called Dr Schiff's office for an emergency crown that fell off. They fit me in the day I called and made me feel so at ease. I scheduled a cleaning upon leaving and have found my new dentist after moving to the Eastern Shore. The staff is wonderful.

This past week I completed the final step of my veneer process with David H. Schiff DDS and I could not be more happy with my outcome, thanks to Dr.Schiff years of sadness looking in the mirror from childhood bullying are finally behind me. I can FINALLY smile as wide as I want without the constant anxiety of thinking people are looking at my teeth, and for once in my life I'm not stressing about having to smile a certain way and contort my lips to cover up my "imperfections". I know to some these before and afters may not be extremely dramatic or maybe you'll think my teeth were fine before, but to me there is a world of a difference & truly my life is forever changed for the better, I'm finally closing a chapter of bullying & pain and moving on to ALL smiles from here on out! I seriously can not thank Schiff dental and their amazing staff enough, they are true miracle workers, if you've ever debated getting veneers or dental work- look no further.

We're on vacation in OC and my poor son developed an abscess . I called every dentist in the OC area, Dr. Schiff's office were the only ones that would allow a new patient to come in on the same day. We were able to get in right away. We are so thankful that they were able to fit us in. The entire staff was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

Dr. Schiff's office is incredible! Friendly and family oriented as well. Dayna always reminds me Of an appointment and they are first class all The way. I just had a beautiful Maryland bridge done there and it is just perfect! Boosts my confidence. I used to dread going to the dentist, not any more!

Very friendly staff all around. They make you feel so comfortable you don't even realize you are at the dentist! They walked my son through the entire anesthesia process so he was at ease to have dental work. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Shiff and everyone at the office!
