Dr. David Gutwirth received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University. In 1991, he attended New York University College of Dentistry and earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Born and raised in Brooklyn, Dr. Gutwirth became an associate dentist in a Bensonhurst, Brooklyn dental office. After five years as an associate, Dr. Gutwirth took over his existing practice in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He has been serving the community for over 20 years at his present practice. He routinely takes dental education courses throughout the year so he can offer his patients the best treatment options.
Ashley is the newest member of our team, bringing more than 10 years of customer service and managerial experience with her. She oversees the office operations, scheduling and billing and is committed to making your experience a positive one. She takes pride in making sure all of our patients are taking care of.
Alyssa has been part of our staff for more than 5 years now. She has been a familiar and friendly face to all of our patients. Born a natural people person, she takes pride in helping all of our patients, whether its assisting in the exam room or at the front desk. She is currently perusing her degree in Medical Technology.
Kinga was born and raised in Poland, where she received her Masters Degree in Political Science. After receiving her degree, she moved to the U.S. and has been assisting Dr. Gutwirth since 2007. She enjoys her job, and is an empathetic person who cares for others.
Annabella obtained an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Farmingdale State University, she has been practicing Dental Hygiene for 10 years.Annabella truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. Her goal is to make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care.

I was referred to Dr. Gutwirth by a family friend and I am so happy. We now have a new family dentist. Dr. Gutwirth was excellent with our 3 teenagers. Scheduling appointments are easy and appointments are on time. Everyone in the office was welcoming and professional. I highly recommend his practice!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gutwirth since he first opened at his present location over 20 years ago. There is no one else I would ever consider going to. He is EXCELLENT! Thorough, patient, and compassionate, I attribute a healthy dental state to him and his wonderful staff of courteous, helpful people. It's a gift to have a good dentist and I consider myself very fortunate to have found him all those years ago. HIGHLY recommend.

All that I have to say, is that going to this office was an overall pleasure. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr Gutwirth was amazing and made me feel comfortable, especially since it had been a long time since I've been to the dentist. I will definitely be using this office for all of my future dental needs.

I visited Dr. Gutwirth's office recently for the first time. I was impressed by his professional and courteous staff and wanted to share my experience. His office was clean, comfortable and pleasant in appearance. His dental equipment was in excellent condition. He was attentive to my immediate needs, an exam and cleaning/ polish. The exam was thorough and included great advice coupled with a pleasant demeanor. I was very pleased with my experience.

Dr. Gutwirth is an excellent Dentist. Every time I visit the office I experience a welcoming environment. They are very helpful, patient, and kind. I have received cleanings, and I am scheduled for an implant. All done with gental care.Dr. Gutwirth and his office are very flexible and available. Highly recommended Dentist.

My appointment for a cleaning and x-rays was wonderful. It had been 3 years since a dental appointment so I was nervous, but the office staff and pleasant waiting room relaxed me right away. My appointment was on time and efficient. It was one of the nicest visits I've ever had. I was encouraged enough to schedule my next 6 month visit right then and there! Pleased to know that David Gutwirth is my new dentist for as long as I live in Brooklyn.

Great Hands!! Dr. Gutwirth did a great job today. My situation was a little tricky being I have veneers (front tooth) and needed a root canal. He managed to preserve the veneer and perform the root canal with minimal discomfort. Excellent!

My visit to Dr. Gutwirth's office yesterday was relaxed and comfortable. It had been obvious, from the short online questionnaire that I was sent beforehand, that all care was being taken to ensure patient safety during this time of Covid. From the moment I arrived I felt at ease. Dr. Gutwirth and his team, with the professionalism, warmth and friendliness that is always so evident in his dental practice, made sure that the experience was pleasant, efficient, and free of all anxiety. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Gutwirth's for many years and have always been extremely happy with the care and attention that we've received from him in regularly scheduled visits, as well as emergencies.
