Dr. Fleitas received his dental degree and certificate in pediatric dentistry from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine where he received the alumni award for the highest distinction in pediatric dentistry in his graduating class.
He began his professional career as an Assistant Professor of Dentistry, but realized his passion was for direct patient care. He opened his private dental practice in La Vernia, Texas and has been serving the community and surrounding areas for the past 23 years. He is committed to providing outstanding dental care for all children and adolescents.
Crystal has been with our practice as our hygienist for the past 18 years. She is the primary person responsible for educating our patients in the prevention of dental and periodontal disease. Crystal keeps updated on the latest recommendations in prevention by taking regular continuing education courses. Her extensive clinical experience allows her to provide outstanding dental hygiene care to all of our patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Has completed her BS, MS and is pursuing her PhD in business management. Upon completion, she plans to move into hospital management. She is bilingual in Spanish and in her free time enjoys health/fitness and spending time with her family.
Nancy serves multiple roles in the practice both administratively and clinically to assist our patients in multiple ways She is bilingual in Spanish and enjoys cooking, exercising and keeping up with her nephews.

He's been my daughters dentist since she was 1. I will never forget when she was 4 she had two cavities & Dr Flietes let me know ahead of time if it's more than what he's willing to do (such as more major like surgery, putting to sleep, etc) he does not do that there because "I want kids to know the dentist isn't a scary place, at least not my place (LOL) and one thing I will never do is traumatize a child." He's upheld those words for 10 years. Every appointment is a 5 star from every staff member. He knows what customer service means & I've never encountered anything but kindness from Dr Flietes & staff! I think the longest we've ever waited to be seen was like 7 minutes. So appointments are scheduled to where you're basically seen on arrival. I love that. My daughter is 11 & she sees him twice a year. Now he sees my 1 year old son.

Can't believe I haven't left my review here yet. I highly recommend Dr Fleitas. When I moved to this town my kids were only 5 and 11. My 5 year old was terrified of the dentist and even bit the previous dentist, literally not a good experience for her or the Dr. She also has ADHD. Well as soon as she met Dr Fleitas I explained our previous encounters with dentist and he reassured me everything would be fine. He is so patient and kind and my daughter did so well the very first visit. And every visit since. She loves him and actually WANTS to go. She is almost 12 now. My oldest daughter has cerebral palsy and has anxiety very bad, but again he is always so patient. He goes above and beyond for my family and I could not ask for better. Oh and my kids used to love riding the horse at the end of their appts. (They are too big now)

My daughter has been going to Dr. Fleitas since she was a baby and she is now 6. We have always had a great experience with the doctor and staff. I recommend this office to everyone!

Awesome dentist! My 9 month old absolutely loves going to the dentist! He is amazing with the little guy and there has not been any screaming, crying or fussing.

Highly highly recommend!! We have been going to him for years. My 16 year old boy loves him and my older 3 kids were sad when they passed his age limit. Clean environment. He has a great sense of humor too!!
