Often there is plaque and tartar that accumulates below the gum line. In this scenario, we will clean and smooth this area with special instruments to ensure that the area is completely spotless. If this area is not kept clean the entire area can become irritated with the bacteria that resides in the tartar and plaque. It's very important to have your dentist check this area if you have bleeding during brushing.

Dr Huddle and Lisa met with me today for a new patient exam. Like most people I am apprehensive of Dentists but I will say I was very pleased with my visit. They both made me feel very comfortable and explained what they were doing every step of the way. Dr Huddle is very thorough and set up a clear and concise dental plan for me. My wife has been his patient for almost 25 years now and I am glad she convinced me to make the switch.

I've been going to Dr. Huddle for about 20 years and think he is a wonderful, personable dentist and would consider him a friend. His office staff is nice and caring; his hygienists are very good; and he is an excellent doctor. Over these years, I've had many procedures beyond just cleanings and they have been done professionally and with care. I would highly recommend his services.

I was seen without a scheduled appointment; meaning they made room for me. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and made sure I was apprised of my status. Dr. Huddle was very pleasant to deal with, and provided me advice and instruction without talking down to me. The office took their time with me - I was not rushed. The dentist ensured I knew my options, and what they meant. I am very comfortable with them, and will return for routine care. --Update-- I keep going back. Dr. Huddle and everyone else I have met have treated me with the upmost respect, care and compassion. They are the gentlest service I have ever had - so much so that I actually drifted off a little during a cavity-fill. The Novocain shots were 99.999% unfelt, and totally pain free. I have zero anxiety in the chair. They treat you like a person. More, they treat you like a person they care about. They make sure you understand everything that is going on, ensure you are completely comfortable (and safe, esp. during COVID), and have my best interests at heart. Thank you to the amazing staff and to Dr. Huddle!

Dr. Huddle is a great family dentist, always willing to work our large family appointments in. Dr. Huddle and his staff are great with kids and has allowed my young daughter with dental problems to shadow her big brothers appointments. Dr. Huddle checks in on her regularly and keeps us all aware of real and anticipated dental concerns. Dr. Huddle also got me in same day for an emergency cracked tooth. With one of our children who had missed an appointment, they worked us in when they had a cancellation! Thanks again for all you do!
