Dr. David Parker, DDS, is a well respected dentist practicing from his Smithtown dental office. He has been practicing dentistry since 1971, and his skill, expertise and dedication to patients is unmatched. In his long and distinguished career, Dr. Parker has studied with some of the worlds foremost leaders in the field of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. His passion is cosmetic dentistry, and hes received several awards for outstanding achievement in clinical restorative crown and bridge.

A 1971 graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry, Dr. Parker was elected to the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also did a post-graduate residency in anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Shortly thereafter he opened his Smithtown dental office.

Dr. Parker is honored to be an active member of the American Dental Association, the Suffolk County Dental Society, the American Society of Forensic Sciences, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the Suffolk Society of Forensic Dentistry. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

He has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at both Howard University College of Dentistry and SUNY Stony Brook, and has served as a member of the Professional Liability Committee of the 10th District and the Suffolk County Dental Society.

As part of his work with the Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team (DMORT) Region 2, Dr. Parker was a first responder in the TWA Flight 800 Disaster in July 1996, the World Trade Center Terror Attacks of 9/11 and Hurricanes Rita and Katrina by performing the tedious yet critical task of identifying victims of these events.

Dr. Parker is also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and continues his work with military veterans as the Vice President and Treasurer of Boots on the GroundNY, a 501(c)19 non profit organization dedicated to Leaving no Veteran Behind.
