My hometown roots in dentistry go way back to 1961, when my father Dr. Eugene Hypes started this practice. I joined him in the practice in 1981, after earning my DDS degree from The Ohio State University.

Marion has always been home. I graduated from Pleasant High School in 1974, married Lisa Jesionek in 1982 and, together, we raised two children here (Cameron and Julia). To me, this area has some of the best people in the world to live with, work with and work for.

I was born and raised in Marion, graduating from Pleasant High School in 1988. I currently live in Marion with my wife and two children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, fishing, and hunting. I also enjoy woodworking and improving land for my deer and turkey habitat.

To me, there are few things more rewarding than changing a persons smile and improving their self-image. I understand that many people view dental treatment as stressful and unpleasant. Our office is designed to provide a relaxing, comfortable environment where patients care receive the best dental treatments available. My goal is to make each visit a positive experience. I get the most satisfaction when I hear a patient say, That was easy, Were done already or That was painless.
