Dr. David Donald graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then attended dental school at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where he received an award for his work with medically compromised patients. Following Dental school, Dr. Donald pursued his dream of providing oral health care to children by completing a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Donald is trained to see both healthy and medically compromised children, traumatic dental injuries and emergencies, children with craniofacial abnormalities, pediatric conscious sedation, etc. His fellow residents and director appointed him Chief Pediatric Dental Resident during his final year at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Donald demonstrates a deep commitment to pediatric dentistry and is very active in the dental profession. He holds a specialty license from the Florida State Dental board that designates him as a specialist in pediatric dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Florida Dental Association (FDA), the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and the Greater Orlando Dental Society.
Dr. Donald and his family relocated to the Orlando area in 2008. He and his wife, Maria have been happily married while enjoying their five beautiful children Julianne, Christopher, Luke, Eric, and Eleanor. In his spare time he enjoys time with the family, being outdoors, exercising, cooking and watching college football.

WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!! My children have been going to Dr Donald's office for years and we have never had a complaint until now. I was told by his office that my son had a an area of concern that needed to be addressed, a possible cavity. Unfortunately, I cannot takeoff of work and my son cannot miss school for a minor procedure so I went elsewhere to get the procedure done and I'm so thankful I did when I was there, this new dentist found FIVE cavities that I've been decaying for a year plus and one of them resulted in a crown; possible root canal because it was not addressed in time. I cannot even explain my anger. These are his adult teeth, this is permanent! Do not trust this place! Just so everyone is aware they go every 6 months and we were just there in August 8,2022, it's now October 14,2022 so these cavities were never spotted even after X-rays. Once I was made aware of these cavities I looked for myself and I COULD SEE THEM CLEARLY, they were HUGE! I'm furious that I trusted him and the staff with my children's health. Never again!!

It's never an exciting experience to bring the littles to the dentist, so we were excited to hear of Dr. Donald's strong reputation of working so well with children. The experience was delightful and the kids did great with their cleanings. It's very evident that Dr. Donald loves kids and has a strong passion for helping them.

If you're looking for a pediatric dentist, look no further! Dr. Donald and his staff have been absolutely wonderful! My 6 year old daughter required some minor cavity work and today completed her second out of four visits required, and unlike me, she is not scared for her appointments! All the credit goes to Dr. Donald and the staff for being extremely warm, soft, and welcoming through the entire process. If Dr. Donald starts accepting adult patients, I would be the first one to sign up! Thank you Dr. Donald and staff for all you do!

Dr Donald and his team have been amazing with my son! We had a horrible Pediatric Dentist office in Maiteland claiming "NO insurance covers pediatric dental surgery" and wanted to charge me upwards of $5,000 for fillings and caps on my 3 year old. Thank goodness for this team, we were able to get better service (cause he did in fact need a tooth extracted and not just filled) and were able to get the procedure done for a tenth of the cost from the other dentist. Dr Donald loves his profession and it really shows! Good attitude and smiles from the minute you walk in the door!

Absolutely wonderful! I have an 8 year old with quite a bit of dentist anxiety and Dr. David and Dianna were so wonderful with him! We had a private room because I shared his anxieties which was perfect! Highly highly recommend!

Our 5 and 6 year old boys see Dr. Donald and we've had a great experience. Our older son is autistic and needs to be sedated. This team is kind, understanding and very efficient. Highly recommend in all aspects.

Dr. Donald and his team are absolutely amazing. My daughter is extremely shy and by her third visit she is excited to go to the dentist. They have always been patient and friendly and make going to the dentist a fun experience. I would highly recommend Dr Donald.

Excellent Dentist, staff, and office facilities. We loved our visit. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. My son wasn't upset with his first visit. He is 2.5 years old. The staff was always helpful and courteous. The facilities were clean and fun to look at. I would recommend this practice to my friends who have kids that need an excellent dentist. Thank you!

We have been taking our 4 kids to Dr. Donald for many years, and I can not say enough amazing things about this practice. It's hard as a parent taking your kids to a doctor and trusting that, that person wants do right by you and your family. But I can say with 1000% certainty that Dr. D is that doctor! He is very honest and trustworthy dentist. Highly Recommend.

I came to this office for a 2nd opinion for my young daughter and Dr. Donald was so kind. He took the time to talk to us and explain his opinion. I left feeling so relieved! My daughter who is usually a screamer at the dentist was so calm and happy when we left. I will definitely be switching to see him full time!
