Prior to going into dentistry, I worked as a paramedic for six years. I went to California State University, Fresno as a Chemistry major. I graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in 1988 with a doctorate and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.
I am an active member of The American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and The Academy of General Dentistry. I have earned fellowship in both the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. I also administer and volunteer at two dental clinics in Haiti as part of the World Children Relief Organization.
I have maintained a private practice in Chula Vista, Calif. since 1990. As a licensed General Dentist in California we work with our patients to achieve and maintain a beautiful smile with healthy gums and teeth. We take the time with our patients to explain their treatment options and inform them of additional preventative care to relieve their stress and anxiety.

Since completing my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University in 1988, I have gone on to receive a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and I am currently working on completing work at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education. These experiences have given me a greater ability to enjoy my profession, and to offer you an uncompromising quality of care.

Long time returning patience to this great office. Doc and Niki are the best! Gentle on the cleaning, but intense if needed, like filling in a cavity. Uber friendly always - make you look forward to visits which get you out of the office! Thanks, again Doc and Staff!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the Dr. Littlefield was honest and straight forward.Marla is knowledgeable and explains everything to you in understandable terms. She took the time fully go over my dental health. The best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff ... would highly recommend to anyone!!! I wish I had switched to them sooner.

Dr. Littlefield provided me with the most thorough dental exam I've ever had. His staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The staff that completed my X-rays was so professional. The dental hygienist made sure I was comfortable in every way. I will go back for sure! I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Littlefield and his staff truly care. From Jose making my first appointment, to Denise taking me through the xrays and answering questions. Valerie giving me options for treatment and getting me in early to end my pain But the 2 stars for me are, of course Dr. Littlefield who called me at home and helped get me out of pain quickly , and Sheena who holds my hand, keeps me calm and truly cares. Dr. Littlefield, give them all a raise cause they are priceless.

I have a dispute with billing. I see on my statement that my insurance payment was received by you in time, but by the time I get the statement it's now over 30 days and them you tack on the late fee to me, and that's not right. I noticed that it's been happening since 2019 and that a total of 688.00 dollars in late fees tacked on to me.

My family has been coming to Dr Littlefield for more than 10 years. He takes a personal interest in his patients and even keeps tracks of what my now young adult sons are doing. Very impressive and touching! I've given Dr. Littlefied 5 star reviews before but I want to give him a 10 star review for the service he and his staff provided below. The week of 3 Sep, Valerie the office manager moved mountains to get my husband an urgent appointment for a tooth extraction. Then the Dr and his assistant, Sheena, worked miracles to save the tooth (yeah!) AND to work around my husband's scooter -and his great pain-as he is a person with multiple severe disabilities. Who likes to go to the dentist? Anyone? Well... this doctor and his staff will make it the best experience possible. Dr. Littlefield has been our family dentist for over 20 years, and we have recommended to friends and family that have made him their dentist too.
