Here at the practice of David A. Chin, D.D.S and Associates, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentists office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.

Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth. Our goal is to protect your childrens teeth so they can eat and speak correctly. We will do whatever we can to help your children have the bright smiles they deserve.

Dr. David Chin has over 30 years of experience in pediatric dentistry. His passion for childrens dental care first began while participating and later leading a non-profit childrens dental care clinic at Northwestern University Dental School.

Born and raised in San Mateo, Calif., Dr. Chin graduated from Aragon High School before receiving his bachelor degree in Bacteriology at California State University, Long Beach. From there, he moved to Chicago, Ill. for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Northwestern University. He completed his pediatric dentistry residency at Harbor General Hospital in Los Angeles, Calif. and then received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

His practice has been located in Glendale, Calif. since 1988 and has developed a distinguishable reputation for excellence and high standards in pediatric oral care. Dr. Chin is a diplomat for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is currently an adjunct academic lecturer at UCLA, supervising the pediatric dentistry clinical residents and teaching a weekly educational seminar.

Dr. Chin has been dedicated to his craft for over thirty years. When he takes a day off, he is most likely poolside in Hawaii or stadium side at a Dodger game. He also loves cooking new recipes for his family, watching Star Trek, and rooting for the 49ers.

Dr. Aneri Gandhi is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist. She grew up in the city of Cerritos, California, and attended the University of California, Los Angeles for her undergraduate studies. After UCLA, Dr. Aneri served a year with Americorps, where she mentored, taught, and tutored at-risk inner-city children. She then went on to study dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC), where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree. Her involvement with pediatric clinics, mobile dental vans, health fairs, and international volunteer trips led her to pursue pediatric dentistry as her specialty. She realized how much she loved making children smile and building connections with them. Dr. Aneri then moved to New York City, where she completed her pediatric dental residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Aneri loves living in Southern California and has been working with Dr. Chin since 2015. She continues the tradition of his practice by delivering high-quality compassionate care and loves forming relationships with families.

Dr. Jean Kang grew up in the city of Diamond Bar and graduated from Scripps College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA where she was awarded the Wyatt Rory Hume Scholarship for her dedication to community service. She then completed her pediatric dental residency at UCLA where she was the Chief Resident and received the Section of Pediatric Dentistry Award and the Scott Jacks Award of Excellence for Outstanding Resident.

Dr. Kang also currently serves as faculty at the UCLA Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Southern California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Besides providing individualized quality care to her patients, Dr. Kang believes in fostering long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families and providing them with a dental home where they can learn to lead happier and healthier lives. She also believes in empowering children and their families to make choices for a lifetime of good oral health and providing positive experiences that will enrich their lives.

A lifelong native to the area, Dr. Kira Lee grew up in La Canada Flintridge. After moving up to Northern California to attend the University of the Pacific in Stockton as a pre-dental major, she then continued to San Francisco where she attended University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Kira was a patient of Dr. Chins as a child and her positive experiences here sparked her interest in pediatric dentistry. She continued to grow her passion for working with children in the pediatric dental clinic as well as through her volunteer work with Give Kids A Smile and Special Olympics. Dr. Kira then moved to Hawaii where she completed her pediatric dentistry specialty training through NYU Langone Medical Center. She is very excited to be back in her hometown seeing patients in the same office she grew up in!
