Dr. Dau is proud to be certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a firm believer that continuing education is an integral part of keeping up to date with orthodontic research and advancements in the field. By constantly seeking out new information and strengthening his skills, Dr. Dau is able to deliver orthodontic care at the highest standards and achieve clinical excellence for his patients.
A native of Vietnam, Dr. Dau and his family immigrated to the U.S. in 1985 and he has called Tampa his home for more than 20 years. When not working, Dr. Dau might be golfing, snowboarding, or relaxing on the beach. Hes a passionate traveler, and enjoys new cultures and experiences.
Dr. Dau believes in supporting the community and is a member of Rotary International. He has been involved with projects such as Cycling for Vets and the Fisher House at the Tampa VA Medical Center to support military veterans. Dr. Dau has also participated in various missionary trips to Haiti to provide dental care to local villagers.
Everyday provides me a special opportunity to make an impact in a persons life. Just as every individual is unique, so is every smile. Achieving a beautiful smile starts by listening to each of my patients and taking the time to understand how I can help bring out a smile they can truly call their own. My goal for all of my patients is to provide the highest quality orthodontic treatment in a caring, positive, and educational environment. Dr. Don strives to keep up to date with the advancements in orthodontic treatment and research. He believes life long learning is an integral part in being able to provide the highest quality treatment and outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Dons family immigrated from Vietnam to the United States in 1985 and is the younger brother of Dr. Steven Dau. He grew up in the Tampa Bay area and is an avid sports fan who loves to support the local sports teams including the Buccanneers, Rays, Lightning, and Bulls. During his free time, Dr. Don enjoys being outdoors playing basketball, golfing, and fishing from his kayak.

Both myself and my son received treatment with Dr. Dau when I relocated from Miami Fl !! I absolutely love the staff at Dau Orthodontics and couldn't see going anywhere else

Really disappointed in both medical management of the practitioners and office manager. It is impossible to get answers on treatment plans/duration/medical reasoning. During my last appointment I had a patient who was late to her appointment and because I am a physician I stayed with that patient to get her what she needed (because that is what physicians do) causing me to be 7 minutes late to my orthodontics appointment. I was told that any later then 10 minutes I would be rescheduled even though I had cancelled my clinic of patients who needed me to get my braces checked. Apparently children and professional adults are all competing for morning and 4pm appointments without telling you ahead of time. You cannot make appointments farther out then your next one and if they are gone there is no accommodations for you try to get a better appointment time later. So if you have an essential position or are an employed adult you will likely not be able to continue your treatment without massive delays and high personal and professional cost. Additionally will likely try to sell you on Invisaligns even if you are a poor candidate for it and can put you in severe pain.

While speaking to Christina on the phone trying to schedule an appointment she was unpleasant and unaccommodating. Had a better experience with Robin over the phone, however, with the overall experience I decided to take my son and business elsewhere.

Dr. Dau and his staff has been wonderful to my family! I have four children seeking treatment. Pricing is reasonable for treatment and insurance is accepted. Office hours are very accommodating to a busy schedule. The staff is warm and friendly. You feel very welcomed and a part of the family!

Each time I go to my appointment I leave with a smile on my face. For one , the place is so modern and everyone is so kind and helpful. Dr. Dau explains every process that is going on with your teeth, and spends time with you and doesn't rush through the appointment.

Dr Dau was great. All three of us got braces at the same time. Myself and my two daughters. His office was always courteous and quick. Appointments were always easy to make and we never had to wait long to be seen. His locations are convenient, clean and well appointed.

The staff is always so welcoming and helpful! I saw Dr. Dau in the lobby while there with my son and he was asking about my treatment. I couldn't believe he knew every detail about my case. I wouldn't ever expect that from a Dr. who sees so many patients, so that shows me how much he really cares! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
