I was, too. I grew up in the home of an orthodontist my dad and thought I might want to do that too, but architecture grabbed my attention and I pursued that instead. I went to college for architecture and even practiced for almost a decade, but I began to feel incomplete and dissatisfied. I was missing out on the relationships that I loved and knew orthodontics could provide.

Yes! A few years ago, I decided that I would really commit to my personal fitness and riding my bike. So for the 12 days of Christmas, I rode my bike every single day of my Christmas break. Then I made a New Years Resolution to ride my bike 400 miles in the month of January. And I did it!
In years past, I used to cut my own hair. One time, I asked my girlfriend to trim the back Well, that was a mistake! She had never used electric clippers before. So she didnt have the guide on the blade and ended up cutting a huge streak from my neckline to the middle of the back of my head All the way down to the scalp!

One of the biggest questions patients have is about dental insurance. Sure, it covers cleanings and fillings, but braces? Most dental insurance plans cover most, if not all, of the cost of braces, including traditional metal braces or clear ceramic braces. The amount of coverage varies.

You may think dental insurance covers braces but not clear aligners such as Invisalign. That may have been the case in the past, but its not the case now! Most dental insurance policies will cover Invisalign treatment as well as treatment with braces.
It is important here to know the difference between these two accounts. The FSA only lasts one year. It expires at the end of the calendar year or the end of your companys fiscal year (check with your human resource director or your insurance company for the correct date). The money does NOT carry over to the following year, so you lose those funds if you dont spend them.

My daughter looks forward to her visits every time.... and I'm being serious! She occasionally asks me; "When do I GET to go to my orthodontist!" They do a great job of making the experience positive for the kids... and the "points" they get help too!

Both my children have completed orthodontia with Dr Datwylers team (Invisalign and traditional braces) and we were very happy with the experience. Friendly and helpful staff, efficient and on time appts; reasonable rates. Would definitely choose them again!

There are a lot of talented orthodontists in town. It's true! I chose Datwyler Orthodontics based on glowing reviews and also location. I am VERY happy I made that decision! The staff is warm, welcoming, funny, silly, all while being very professional and great at what they do. Dr. Datwyler is the same and has clearly built a practice that values his staff and clientele and maintains an excellent environment. My teenage son wanted to pursue Invisalign, which I was nervous about. The team assured us that if he didn't follow his trays and the recommended protocol after three months, they'd put metal braces on his teeth and go forward from there. I was reassured at that point and never looked back! I also think that made him nervous enough to take it seriously! He completed his treatment in 2022 (on time and without hassle) and I have nothing but glowing reviews for the entire process! I highly recommend Dr. D and his staff to everyone (adult and child) seeking orthodontic care. Plus, the music in the office is top notch! :)

My daughter got her braces on yesterday. She's doing so good! Great staff and Dr. They made my very shy girl very comfortable and happy. It's been awhile since I had braces and all my questions and answers were met.

Dr. Datwyler and his staff provide the best, most comprehensive ortho care. I have a very complicated adult case and they have been patient with my needs and I could not be more satisfied with my progress and results. My son will be a patient of Dr. D next year and there is nobody else I would trust.

Kind and attentive Doctor and staff who take time to explain and answer all questions. All positive interactions once you walk through the door This is the most fun orthodontic experience I've had...prior establishment I used to go to was super sales, like a never ending timeshare tour.
