Dr. N. Guzin Uzel received her DMD from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed her Periodontology Certificate and Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc) degree at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She also received her Certificate in Microbiology from The Forsyth Institute, where she has conducted several basic science and clinical research studies.

Dr. Uzel has published several peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on both basic science and clinical applications of periodontics and taught for several years at Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she served as the Clinical Director of Postdoctoral Periodontology. She is currently an assistant professor and Assistant Director of Predoctoral Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Erin Breen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University in Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed her training in periodontology with a Master of Medicine Sciences degree in oral biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Breen has conducted extensive research at the Forsyth Institute investigating the mechanisms surrounding resolution of inflammation and focusing on the oral systemic connection in chronic inflammatory diseases, such as type II diabetes. Dr. Breen was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in September, 2018, teaching periodontics and implant surgery. Dr. Breen has been an active member of the International Association of Dental Research and is involved with the American Academy of Periodontology. In her free time, Dr. Breen enjoys reading, traveling and cooking.

Dr. Yolanda Ho received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. She then continued her Doctorate in Dental Surgery studies at the University of California San Francisco. She finished her specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for Periodontology with a Master in Medical Sciences.

Dr. Ho has much enthusiasm for academia leading as class president in dental school and chief resident in her specialty. Her masters work on the use of a novel antimicrobial solution on periodontal pathogens and oral soft tissue earned her the Award for Outstanding Contributions to Dental Research by a Post-Doctoral Student.

Her practice philosophy emphasizes a patient and provider teamwork: facilitating patient education and acknowledging patient needs to ensure successful surgical intervention and outcome. Dr. Ho enjoys reading, going on hikes, and rehashing Star Wars theories.
