I have recently had the pleasure of having my teeth returned to me, after almost two decades of confinement by the self imposed clutches of tartar buildup. By my own hand, my precious biters were neglected and inadequately cared for. When a broken molar, over two years past, wasn't enough to stir me to movement, I lived with the burden of chewing my food on the right side of my mouth. It was only when I was informed by one of our great Army's soldiers who is assigned to a medical detachment in the lands of the North while I was being evaluated for medical readiness as a soldier, that the gravity of my dental situation became a thing of importance. My status as a soldier could hang in the balance, based on the condition of my teeth. I made an appointment shortly thereafter. I decided to choose Jeffery Family Dentistry. I felt at peace with my choice. I waited with a surge of excitement at the prospect of having my teeth cleaned and freed from their prison of plaque. I also looked forward to a future of chewing my food, utilizing both sides of my jaw. I had been content with the burden I had caused myself. It was time for a revolution in my soul. My appointment started with x-rays. Jolie was extremely pleasant to work with. She was kind and very knowledgable. She then went to work on cleaning my teeth. For what seemed like forever, she chiseled and sprayed in heated battle with the tartarous layers that concealed a once bright smile. She of course stood triumphant, as the last bits of plaque were dispatched and sucked away. I was more than halfway to having my mouth back. Next came what I thought would result in an inevitable root canal. But after further inspection of my x-rays, Dr. Jeffery concluded that no such procedure would be required, only a filling to repair the long broken tooth. I stood relieved as he informed me of not only that, but that my teeth were actually fairly healthy. He and his lovely assistant went to work on two fillings and did a wonderful job. My mouth was clean and repaired! I was now presented with a golden opportunity to start over. My resolve to take more than adequate care of my mouth has been ignited. I will never take brushing, flossing, and rinsing for granted hence-fourth. Dr. Jeffery and his team have renewed in me, a dedication to health and self care. I strongly recommend that all who seek dental care in this area go to Jeffery Family Dentistry.
