In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Combs is also Board Certified in Periodontics. His scope of work includes treating and managing periodontal disease (the health of your gums and bone), surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, cosmetic gingival surgery including gum grafting, laser periodontal treatment, gummy smile correction and much more.
Dr. Combs received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry in 2002. In 2005, he attended an intensive three-year residency program in periodontics at the University of Kentucky, obtaining his Masters degree and certificate in Periodontology. To further his training and distinction in the field, Dr. Combs passed both the written and oral board examination to become a diplomate in the American Academy of Periodontology in 2009.
After working for several years in two successful practices in Broad ripple and Shelbyvillehe decided to purchase his own practice.Dr. Combs has been practicing in Zionsville since 2014. Dr. Combs is married to his wife Julie and they have two young childrenBen and Bridget.

Dr Combs (and his staff) are all great. He actually tells me about the tools he is using and why they work - awesome for me as an engineer, and he has great "bedside manner" in general. Not to mention, the office is great at helping find quick appointment times. Feels like the dentist office I grew up with after a couple of years

This is a wonderful office! Dr Combs & staff are all Very patient and caring and listens to what your cencerns are for your mouth/dental issues. Such a Great staff! Very accommodating, and encourages positive dental care into your daily routine. Highly recommend.

Dr. Combs is very knowledgeable in his trade; I appreciate his viewpoint on preserving your natural teeth & gums as a primary goal before considering surgery and other reconstructive measures. Holland is a wonderful hygienist - very personable and funny; makes the dreaded "going to the dentist" task much more enjoyable. Highly recommend their office.

All aspects of the practice are excellent. Each team member plays a vital role in contributing to the best in class experience. Dental treatments are not something most patients look forward to receiving. The fact the team is friendly, caring and professional at all times makes for a great overall experience. Dr. Combs is prompt, knowledgeable, and gentle with his patients. Fillings & crown work are done without pain & discomfort. Even the injection of a numbing liquid is not painful. His staff is equally gentle, and they are very welcoming.
