I was raised by my wonderfuland loving parents on long Island, NY and graduated from Massapequa High school in 1981. Alumni include the Baldwin Family and Jerry Seinfeld. My undergraduate studies were completed with a major in biology and a minor degree in technology from SUNY at Stonybrook inJune of1985. I graduated from the University of Medical and Dentistry of New Jersey in June of 1989 with a DMD Degree.
As anenlisted man in the US Army Reserves in a Dental Field Unit, I decided to pursue the Army full time. I was commissioned as a Captain in the US Army Dental Corps at Fort Dix from 1989 to 1993. I spent the next 3 yearsat Fort Monmouth and was promoted to Major before resigning my commission in 1996.
I opened my first practice, Quality Dental Care, in March of1996. This practice was located in Wrightstown, NJ near Fort Dix. Through the years, I have provided careto many active duty personnel, and their dependents, as well as members of the local community. It was a highly successful practicewith anexcellentreputation.
After 18 highly successful years at the Wrightstown location, I was able to sell that practice and move to the Oceanport area to pursue a new chapter in my life with Oceanport Quality Dental Care.I am currently a member of the Monmouth Ocean County Dental Society and aTrustee on this board, with the aspiration of becoming the President ofthe local chapter of the ADA.
My practice philosophy is simple.I listen to my patients' desires and goalsto restore teeth function witheachstepwill leading to success.As far as cosmetic procedures desired, the sky is the limit! Lastly andmost importantlyis that I am excited and sincerely looking forward to building this Oceanport practice with a high reputation of excellence and integrity.

I moved to Oceanport 3 years ago and due to fear I waited to see a dentist until it was far too late. I did a quick google search and came across Dr O and his office, read the reviews and knew I had to go see him. Nadia is so kind and accommodating, they all are! I absolutely love that everyone is so family oriented and after the first visit, we were on a first name basis. I cannot express the relief I have when coming to see Dr O, he is quick, painless and a true joy to visit. I will recommend Dr O and his team whenever possible. Thank you all so much for the true quality dental care and service you provide. Forever grateful for this team!

I have been going to Dr.O for almost 7 years! He is the best! Great personality, very thorough exams, and awesome office staff. Dr. O is also always available to see me right away for an emergency visit. Always happy with my treatment!

My wife and I have been using Dr. Oshidar for about a year and have been very satisfied with him and his office staff. He has done our exams, cleanings, and several crowns, and a tooth reconstruction. His work has been topnotch. It is a very friendly office.

Dr. Oshidar is by far the best dentist I have ever had. His personality is second to none. I have never had such pain free visits. He uses the latest technology and makes you feel very comfortable in the chair. I no longer dread going to the dentist's office. I highly recommend Dr. Oshidar.

Big thanks to Doc Oshidar and Team...it was worth the 50 minute drive to have competent dental work done by someone I trust! Good work today saving me future pain and money. Also, he does a great job using current technology to show you exactly what he's doing via before, during, and after pictures...such a welcome change from not knowing what is actually taking place in my mouth. I have now visited Dr Oshidar on three occasions, I am completely comfortable in his hands, He will be happy to share with you his new technology and show you exactly what is needed. He has replaced a couple of old fillings, and addressed a new one with absolutely no pain. I have been visiting this practice now for several years and have always been made to feel like family, I leave with a smile and look forward to my next appointment.
