Dr. Colin Pech, the founder of the Darien Center for Dentistry, has been practicing conservative cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry for over 25 years. His philosophy is to enhance what God has given you so you can enjoy your smile for life.
Dr. Pech was born and raised in Hamburg, New York. His family has been in the health care profession for 4 generations. He firmly believes in his heritage of providing the best possible care and service to his family of patients. Dr. Pech lives in Darien with his wife, Heather and their 3 girls, Timber, Bug and Kyla along with their Leonberger named LoLa . I like living in the community where my office is located, I want my patients to feel they can call me at any time. When you call his office after hours, you will not speak to an attendant who will page the doctor, you will be given Dr. Pechs home and mobile numbers.
In his free time, Dr. Pech enjoys spending time with his family, they love outdoor sports, including fishing, paddle boarding and skiing amongst other activities. They spend quality time as a family traveling throughout New England.
Dr. Pechs dedication to excellence is seen through his extensive attendance and associations with world class dental institutions such as the Pankey Institute, the Misch Institute, the Spears Institute, the Sclar Center, and New York University College of Dentistry. He has accumulated over 5000 continuing education hours in his quest to provide his patients with the best possible care.
In 2004 Dr. Pech completed a two year post graduate program in Implant Dentistry from NYUs College of Dentistry. Upon completion, he was asked to become a clinical professor for the program. Dr. Pech lectures and is a clinical instructor at NYUs post graduate dental implantology clinic.
In 2012, the Darien Center for Dentistry underwent a complete renovation to give patients a relaxing environment while providing them with the most up to date technologies so that Dr. Pech and his team can deliver the most comprehensive dental treatments. His association with world class specialists aides in helping his patients achieve their goals with interdisciplinary coordination and follow through, ultimately giving his patients a natural, healthy smile that gives them something to smile about.

Rosas patients are very special to her, and while she assists Dr. Pech during dental procedures, Rosa enjoys making sure each person is as comfortable as possible. She loves hearing about our patients families and looks forward to getting updates on school and work. She is a delightful, fun member of our team. Rosa has two beautiful daughters and two wonderful grandchildren who are the loves of her life. She enjoys reading and relaxing when she can, but most of all, loves being with her grandchildren.
Diana treats each patient like a member of her family as she takes charge of their dental health and improves their smiles through preventive care and education. She loves working together with the rest of our team and has a lot of fun keeping current with new technology through continuing education. Diana has two wonderful children, Scott and Kara, and a cute black cat named Oscar. She enjoys Broadway shows, reading, gardening, taking care of her home and family, kayaking, and hiking in the Adirondacks.
Mia adopts each patient as if they were part of her own family and feels blessed to have been treating some of them for over 20 years. Mia is grateful to be able to provide her family of patients with excellent care in a warm and comforting environment. Mia and her husband, Paul live in New Canaan with their 2 sons, Jack and Connor along with their rescue lab Samantha Jane In her free time, she enjoys reading, volunteering, taking long walks on the beach and traveling to their family home on Nantucket.
Dr. Pech and I have worked together for 20 years. It is his integrity, clinical abilities, consistency, honesty, and love for dentistry that keeps me out of retirement! His commitment to education, his team, and his patients is unsurpassed.

I'm an older patient, never had great teeth, and I have just finished major dental work with Dr Falcone, which undertook a long time. I have never experienced a more caring partnership with a dentist. Her ability to manage the entire process and produce the most beautiful teeth I've ever had, makes me want to smile all the time. Dr Falcone, her professional staff, and all the people that make Dental Specialists of Darien run smoothly, make it a pleasure for the FIRST time to visit a dentist in my life.

Dr Zapata and the team of specialists in Darien are simply the best all around dental practice I've experienced. I am particularly happy to have found Dr Zapata. He is caring, gentle and an extremely talented dentist who places his patients happiness and all being above all else. I could not recommend him more highly. My grown kids have recently moved to our area and they are all now seeing Dr. Zapata as their dental specialist as well. He's the very best.

Dr. Pech has been the best Dentist ever to me. I recently had a "botched" crown applied, and Dr. Pech's expertise has completely changed it to perfection. I was so traumatized by the bad experience, and never thought I'd never be able to smile again, but the difference in just 3 hours with Dr. Pech is incredible!! He is a pure professional, very detail oriented, follows up by phone, and just a caring person.

On the whole a good experience except for the floss used by the hygienist to clean under the bridges - much too thick and painful to the gums. There are better products available on the market.

During a hospital operation I lost an upper bridge. When I was discharged I called Dr. Pech's office and I received an appointment immediately. Dr. Pech performed the preliminary work and explained the longer term considerations. The following afternoon he installed a temporary bridge. Excellent service!

Dr. Pech and team make a trip to the dentist completely painless. I trust this group implicitly. Also, just did Invisalign program with Dr. P and couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend this for anyone looking to straighten their tooth or fine tune a couple of rogue shifters into a perfect smile.
