Dr. Darel Moss began his lengthy and distinguished education at the State University of New York at Albany for his undergraduate studies where he became a Regent Scholar Holder.He then attended the prestigious State University of New York at Stonybrook School of Dentistry where he was 1 of 24 students accepted out of 1453 applicants.He was chosen by his peers as the class president for both his Junior and Senior years.After his graduation from dental school he entered into the General Practice Residency Program for 1977-78.Furthering his expertise in all facets of dentistry, Dr. Moss spent the next five years as an apprentice to Dr. M. Michael Cohen, Professor Emeritus at both Harvard and Tufts concentrating on removable and fixed orthodontic therapies. This training culminated spending the years 1984-86 in the United States Orthodontic training program. Dr. Moss has been practicing dentistry in the town of Brookline for the last 35 years.
Dr. Moss prides himself on the depth of his continuing education over his many years. He has taken and continues to take numerous courses on implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry annually at the Yankee Dental Conference. He has taken advanced courses and spent many hours of observation at the renownedBicon Dental Institute. He is also currently an American Dental Association member.

Dr. Samvel Martirosyan practices general dentistry. After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene, he held a faculty position from 2009 until 2012 at the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene. He then continued his education at Tufts University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2016.Upon graduating from Tufts, Dr. Martirosyan received the award for Clinical Excellence in General Dentistry.
Dr. Martirosyan feels honored that patients place their trust in him, and he takes his responsibility, and their health, seriously. Patient care starts by listening, and then by education. With that in place it is only then we can come up a comprehensive care to address patients needs and wants.
Dr. Martirosyan maintains professional membership in the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Martirosyan is originally from Armenia, but he calls Massachusetts home since age 10. He is fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian. Outside of the office, Dr. Martirosyan enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially with his wife, Emiliya and their son, Arthur.He enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, motorsport racing, and working on cars.

I required extensive work at the interface between my gums and my teeth, particularly for the rear teeth, upper and lower and on both sides. I was very impressed with my treatment by Eva, who was careful, complete, and, most importantly, responsive to any questions, to any discomfort, and to gestures I made during the procedures. I was very well cared for, and I am very impressed with her competence. My positive evaluation also applies to the procedures, both on-line and by phone, for confirming and scheduling. Personal interactions were consistently friendly and useful (and flexible). I recommend this practice.

A patient of Dr. Moss for multiple decades, I recently went for my semi-annual cleaning and checkup. The dental practice is located in a classic brick building and offices are on two floors. Whitewashed woodwork and wainscotting enhance the common rooms and stairway, which also feature a changing array of mostly local artwork. High ceilings and plenty of natural and artificial light round out the features that make this a very pleasant physical place. As always, the well-experienced hygeinist who did my cleaning began right on time. As she was near to the conclusion of her typically precise and thorough work, I casually mentioned that I'd been noticing some discomfort in my jaw. After a few clarifying questions and checking of my records and xrays, she brought this to the attention of Dr. Moss, who came over to follow up. He inspected and probed and questioned, then requested further xrays. When nothing alarming turned up, he proceeded to lay out what he felt were my options for responding to this issue. The options were benign ways to diminish the pain that I could try out. What impressed me about this simple visit was how quick and earnest the responses of both the hygeinist and Dr. Moss were to my relatively offhanded complaint. I felt valued and well cared for. I think this diligence and respect are hallmarks of Moss's practice. These traits complement his experience, up-to-date technical skills, fine hands, and creative treatment approach; altogether, they account for the long success and large patient base of this practice. I am grateful to have such competent and caring professionals overseeing my oral health.

The best dentist our family has ever had--more than competent, knowledgeable about what's going on in dentistry for each member of the family--children, teenagers, adult, seniors--cost effective, great staff, like a mini-UN! All are kind, friendly, engaged, and highly skilled. We can't recommend this practice enough. You won't be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Darel Moss DDS & Associates for over 30 years. Over all these years, their service was flawless! Dr. Moss himself is an extremely thoughtful, caring, and talented dentist. Multiple times he has helped me with complicated dental issues, and every time it is like he has a magic touch. Also, very importantly, his outstanding staff is also very caring. While writing this review, I was thinking about what to recommend as areas of improvement, and nothing could come to mind. I am honored and privileged to be one of Dr. Moss' patients. His entire team - from his staff to the lovely hygienists and the doctor himself - are just outstanding. I found Dr. Moss on recommendation from a colleague after a dentist terribly hurt me and was too rough. At this point, I probably need a root canal though I'm looking to see a specialist highly-recommended by Dr. Moss to help me with the many problems. Dr. Moss is kind and understanding and extremely gentle, especially given that I am very sensitive to dental pain. Even when I've had problems and had to call to speak to Dr. Moss, one of his wonderful receptionists, Camilla, puts me right through to him; Dr. Moss then takes the time to speak with me and to understand the *root* of the issue. What a gem! I also think the hygienist Marisete is an angel. She is so conscientious and takes her time cleaning with my teeth. For the first time in my life, going to the dentist is a true pleasure! I look forward to the next time. Thank you, Dr. Moss and team!
