My husband and I met and graduated from UC Davis, go Ags! From there, I completed a post-baccalaureate from UCSF, earned my DDS from UOP Dental School, and finished with my two-year pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I absolutely love coming to work, taking care of kids that often are so worried, and helping them to conquer their fears. While doing so, I get to catch up with the most amazing families that are part of our practice. My biggest compliment comes from parents saying their children have been asking for months to return to our office! My husband and I are so thrilled to be raising our three girls locally, surrounded by family and friends. We love being out and about, hiking (my pick, not our kids), biking, or just hanging around town with our two crazy doggies.
I completed my dental training at UCSF and earned my Master's in Oral Biology with a Certificate in Orthodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. I have been in practice since 2006 and absolutely LOVE what I do. It is a privilege to work on kids and adults alike. To be trusted to create dazzling smiles that patients are confident of is truly an honor. The icing on the cake is getting to know our awesome patients and families so well! As a local, I love spending time with my family and friends in this beautiful area we call home.
I am so proud to be a specialist in pediatric dentistry! Treating children brings me endless amounts of joy every day and I love having the opportunity to make visiting the dentist fun and comfortable for kids. It is my goal to provide high-quality dental care to children in a caring and compassionate way, and am honored to help start your child on a path to long-term dental health and a lifetime of pleasant and positive dental experiences.
My career journey started after graduating from Tulane University. From there I went to the University of Pennsylvania for dental school where I graduated with multiple awards and honors. Following dental school, I moved to New York City for a two-year residency at Maimonides Medical Center, then enjoyed nearly a decade at a private practice in the Greater New York Area while also teaching in the pediatric dental residency at Columbia University Hospital.
I am a California native from the Central Valley. I attended the University of the Pacific for both my undergraduate and DDS graduate program. I strive to help my patients feel comfortable and confident in the quality of their dental care. It is rewarding to help shape a childs dental experience to make it positive and enjoyable. I believe the key to improving oral health starts with education to help prevent and reduce the need for treatment. I look forward to caring for your children and teens.
Outside of the office, you can find me spending time with my husband and family. One of my biggest passions is traveling the world; experiencing different countries and cultures. In the summers I enjoy soaking up the sun while water skiing and wake surfing, and in the winter, you will usually find me on the ski slopes.
Bay Area born and raised, I moved east to attend Harvard for my undergraduate and DMD degrees; then, the best coast called me home, and I completed my pediatric residency at Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Oregon Health and Science University.
I am so grateful for every moment I spend as a pediatric dentist, and I am forever learning from my incredible patients and their families. I believe that the foundation for a lifelong, positive relationship with dental care is based on a whole-person prevention and education approach for each unique child - healthy habits, healthy kiddos!
Outside the clinic, I am probably trying to convince my family/friends to try a new recipe I found, staying active (volleyball anyone?), visiting extended family, and engaging with my local community and church.
I started my dental career as a Certified Dental Assistant and continued my career after moving, becoming an RDA/ Dental Assistant Instructor. I attained myBS in Healthcare Administration with a Concentration in Management, which I use every day as our Practice Administrator.
I enjoy Friday movie and junk foodnights with my two beautiful daughters, Madysen and Morgan, as well as traveling and trying new things. Im always ready for an adventurelike riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle!

Two of my children had orthodontics work through Dr. Reem. Terrible experience. Appointments always started late, usually at least 30 minutes late and sometimes up to an hour late, which caused my kids to miss more time from school. Reem appeared for a flash but delegates almost all treatment to junior staff. She rarely makes an appearance for more than a couple of minutes. Front desk often doesn't know what is going on. As a result there were many delays and no attention to detail. I would recommend using someone else.

Going to the dentist can be a stressful activity but every single employee in this practice helped my child feel comforted and soothed and explained very well the procedure to me before getting into it. Super professional care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ozzie & team are always very warm & welcoming. They explain every step in detail & with a big smile which takes away any anxiety that the kid or the parent might be feeling. The office decor is so inviting that my kids always look forward to their dental appointments :) Thanks for wonderful service always to the entire team of Danville Pediatric Dentistry.

My wife and I had being painful on visiting several dentists include pediatric dentist in Orinda,Layette, and Danville area for our son prior to our visit Dr. Dana here in Danville Pediatric dentistry & orthodontics. All others office definitely we feel either over-treated him, or took revenue as their priority. We like Dr. Dana and respect her expertises. This is best place for your kids' dentistry option.

My daughter loves this place since they are so welcoming and friendly towards kids. Even though she was bit uncomfortable first week after her braces, she never complained and handled it so well since she was well informed by the doctor and prep'd her on how to handle it. Later I got my invisalign too, great experience and very happy with their service and professionalism. Highly recommend it!

After seeing a general dentist since he was 3, I took my 10 year old son to see Dr Dana about a possible cavity. I took him in a few weeks ago for an X-ray and consultation. She said he would need a crown (on his baby tooth). She assured me that between the nitrous oxide and the local anesthetic that he would do great, even with his anxiety and sensitive gag reflex. Today we went in to have the crown put in (as well as sealants) and Dr Dana was wonderful. My son had a pleasant experience and he was well cared for. He got his choice of Netflix or Disney+ show to watch during the procedure and even a choice of flavor for the nitrous oxide. The whole staff in the office clearly all care for children and really meet them where they're at and don't make them feel rushed or anxious. As a bonus, the office is bright, colorful and very child friendly. I highly recommend this dental practice.

This place is very welcoming for kids and the staff makes them feel comfortable as soon as they show up at their door. My daughter is very scared to dentist, however, after two visits, my daughter was very comfortable seating at the dentist chair and did super well during the whole cleaning process. About rates, I was warned since the very beginning that their rates were more expensive compared to other dentist. Still, I did accept it because to me having a good dentist experience being a child is very important.

My son is a patient of both the dentist and the orthodontist office. They are so amazing towards their patients that he never get anxious or scared of his visits. Furthermore, I became a patient of the ortho office myself. I needed treatment for my overbite, and got my Invisalign fitted today. The experience was seamless and I got all my questions answered. Absolutely recommended!!!

Dr. Ozzie and Andrea went above and beyond to take care of us. My son has anxiety and selective mutism and they went out of their way to make sure they tooK care of him without compromising their quality. They ended up running late but we're constantly checking in and making sure we were okay. Best service!

This feedback is about their standard of informing patients of dropping insurance. They left A vague message and asked for a callback and didn't say that "we are no longer in your network". Instead sent so many reminders, pre-appointment covid check, text messages about appointment time etc. And when we showed up beside the rain, besides being 8 months pregnant they unapologetically tried to pin it on us that they have been trying to inform us. And because it would be a long conversation we didn't want to leave a message. Well, you just informed me in 15 seconds and wasted more than an hour. Just Wow. Some folks have no idea how to run a business. Needless to say, I left, because their charges looked exorbitant. $370 for a checkup and x-ray. I am promised won't be charged for cancelling an appointment, (it ain't technically a cancellation if I show up) but a bill of $49 just might show up. This is a great example of why the Healthcare system needs a total overhaul. I work for the largest hospital system and insurance provider in the state and this experience is something we wouldn't even imagine giving to our members.
